Fabulous stay!

A bit cramped but it's a sailboat so no surprise there! Incredibly comfy bed, great facilities and location - 5 min walk to Marine with loads of shops & restaurants. Go to the end, turn right and after another 10 mins or so you get to the Balboa Island Ferry. $1 and 2 mins later you're on the island and 5 mins from the beach, pier and restaurants. Fabulous. Most importantly of all - Captain Jerry is a very kind and considerate host. 5 stars all the way!

I would say this was a lovely place to stay. Clean with beautiful views. Easy to walk across the street to great restaurant for dinner and to grocery store. Walkable to Balboa island for more restaurants, shops with views and beach access. I would say not for people with mobility issues. Quite a walk for parking and getting in and out of the boat.

This boat is beautiful & well maintained. One needs to be agile & average size or less, as it is tight quarters & requires climbing on board & up & down steep ladder. The bathroom is limited. Shower possible but not easy. Luggage needs to be carried from a distance. Owner is attentive & very willing to be of assistance.
