Slightly older hotel, dark woods used throughout. Room was generally ok. Fridge is available, ironing board available from reception, bed and pillow were comfortable.
Staff at bar and restaurant were helpful, foot options were good.
However!
I was not impressed with house keeping. They appeared not to want to replace the free water bottle in the room if just a little is left in the bottom of previous one OR if you have your own bottle of water in the room. Very strange.
The room (308) had slight damp smell potentially from previous water leak in bathroom area.

The hotel is very well equipped and the staff were courteous and helpful.
My personal criticism is the rooms are poorly soundproofed and having the Gym on the top floor is not the best option.
I could hear every dropped dumbbell.
Such a shame as the location is great.
