Small and needs hot water
While the location is ideal, this penthouse condo has tiny bedrooms and a big problem supplying hot water to the showers! The view/balcony is excellent.,. But for the size it was overpriced.

Awesome location
Pros: Views were fantastic, location optimal, carts to move luggage up to the place, not very busy part of the beach. Extremely good communication with property manager. Fast reply emails. Con: drain stopper didn’t work in master bathroom, which for our two toddlers to take baths after a beach day was not ideal. They offered to fix it but the timing didn’t work out with us being in the room at the time. Would recommend this unit for sure.

This condo couldn’t have been any better. The view from the master suite was spectacular! It was so convenient to get to the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice stay/great location
The condo has an awesome balcony with a great view! The living room is nice. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small; storage space is very limited. The beds were not the most comfortable. We have been in other VRBOs that have been better stocked with basic items such as spices for the kitchen, etc. We had to bring lot of items with us that we have not had to in the past.

One of our best vacations!!!
The unit was great!! One of the toilets was leaking. We reported it and had immediate service of a new one. I have no complaints. It’s in a perfect location, the beach was wonderful and the condo was close to any activity you wanted to do. Would recommend it to anyone. We’re hoping to visit again next year.

Great location
The owner had great communication and was very accommodating. My adult children had a great experience. The location was perfect since it was within walking distance to a bar/restaurant and other small businesses. If my family wanted to rent another condo again, I would definitely try and get this same unit.

Great Place!
Loved our stay and the condo! Easy beach access, undercover parking, very clean, elevators are quick. Great place for food and drink right next door(Molly Darcy’s)with walk up from the beach for some frozen drinks. Would def stay again!

Oceanfront makes everything great
Our family loved the balcony! The sound of the beach, the view, the ability to step out to the waves and sand is why we chose this place. It’s a great unit. The shower was cold water only in bedroom #2. Not a big deal. If you’re someone who needs lots of elbow room in the bathroom and bedroom, you'll be disappointed. For us it was ok. It’s decorated nicely, and we were well furnished and stocked. You can hear the motor of the elevator as it is right above this unit. If you’re a light sleeper or get annoyed by things like that, it could be a problem. For us, it was minor. It's not really loud. Just there. There’s plenty of parking, which is great! The pool is nice, even if it’s raining- it’s indoor. There’s a grilling area which has seats . Parachute and banana boat rentals were right outside the door. Overall, being oceanfront, the ease of check- in, and location makes this a great stay!

Minor extras included would have been appreciated.
The unit was small but we knew that in advance it was very clean excellent location and a gorgeous view of the ocean. I would however suggest minor amenities be there when you arrive. There was no toilet paper no hand towels no soap to even wash your hands and such a minor amount of money invested would be more welcoming. The shower closest to the entrance the hot water cold water knob was installed evidently backwards. I realize that would be quite a job to repair so maybe a note could be posted letting someone know how to turn the water to hot. Regardless we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Myrtle Beach location
The condo was very clean and comfortable. It was right on the beach so we absolutely loved it. And the July 4 fireworks were right outside our window. Amazing!!! The family members who did not stay with us were jealous!

Exactly as shown and great location.
If you’re looking for an oceanfront location at a great value, this is an excellent option. It is small but clean. The building only has seven floors which was absolutely great because there were no long waits for an elevator. Each bedroom has its own bath and the balcony is a really nice size with room to store beach items. It’s not fancy and it’s not very big, but I would definitely return. Note that the sofabed mattress is not usable. Don’t plan to have people sleeping on it.

Unit not cleaned properly, no response from porperty "Host"
My initial reservation went smoothly, however I asked to be contacted by the property “Host” on several occasions because I had additional questions about the rental unit and procedures. I waited several days after each request, but with no response. I also contacted VRBO with questions and was told they would contact the host and have her respond – still no response. The only communication I received back was a form letter from Carolina Palm Vacations with reservation confirmation and check-in procedures. Upon check-in we found evidence that the unit had not be properly cleaned: Sticky bathroom floor, nut shells under the sofa, water rings on the glass tabletop, totally clogged dryer filter (and even the space behind the filter – quite a fire hazard!), a dishrag stuck in the garbage disposal, handprints on the door wall to the balcony, flickering lights in the second bathroom. I called Carolina Palm to report this but got only voicemail so I left a message to call me, but again, no response. Needless to say, I will not rent a Carolina Palm Vacation unit again, and am disappointed in VRBO for not being more helpful in getting response from them.

Great beach getaway
Condo had a excellent ocean view. Small condo, but big enough for 4 people. Sleeps 6 but that would have been too cramped. Kitchen was small and not much room to put non perishables. (Can opener needs to be replaced) Comfortable beds. Quiet this time of year. All in all a good value for the money.

Everything was nice, however the pullout needed a sheet and it wasn't very clean in the inside of the pull out. Everything else was clean and well maintained. Love the Beach View from the balcony and very Quiet and pleasant side of the Beach. Just what we needed. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. what a treat to still go swimming even in the winter.

We enjoyed a great vacation at this beautiful place. The condo was well kept and clean. The view was beautiful. The only down side is you need a code for everything. For the pool and weight room. And they are not the same as the condo excess code. Other than no codes and having to wait a day to get theb

We can only control the code that operates the door to the condo itself, the resort sets the other codes which we wouldn't want to use the same on the condo for security reasons.

Should have been great but...
Great location, beautiful ocean view and convenient washer/dryer in unit with 2 small bedrooms. Natalie and Amy with Property management were great with communication and with cable TV problems BUT housekeeping and furnishings needed alot of attention! Pictures indicate a bright, beachy decor with plenty of detail to bedding and bath. Instead, the furniture, lamps, chair cushions and bedding had all been replaced with dull gray colors and livingroom couch and pillows were badly stained. Bath towels were all stained, and bath mats were dirty. There were crumbs, dirt and dust in the edges of all the dining chair edges. The edge of glass dining table was caked with food or a sticky substance. There were dirty cooking utensils on the kitchen counter and hairs embedded in the kitchen dish towels. The bathtub was stained and had mold around the jets. Even after housekeeping was informed of the discrepancies and told to deliver new towels, no one ever came. We literally washed all our own towels in bleach before using. The property management was very apologetic and refunded the cleaning fee from our rental rate. That said however, there are plenty of other VRBO condos in North Myrtle Beach that have the same beautiful oceanfront view and in better condition! Shop around.

Property was clean and the view was good. Elevator slammed on me and bruised me up on day 2 and day 3 we were stuck in it for a min. Hopefully the issue is fixed. Over all good stay for the price.

Our stay was wonderful. The property was exactly as pictured. Our only complaint was that the front bedroom bathroom had a funky odor that seemed to come from the tub. We ran the bathroom fan a lot but it didn’t seem to help. Communication was wonderful previous to our stay.

The view was almost worth it.
The beach was gorgeous. Very clean. Our condo was really outdated and very dirty. Only 1 elevator worked. So that was a lot of waiting time. The rooms and bathrooms were very small. 1 toilet did not work. Water pressure was low and cold most of the time. One bed spread had holes in it. But both beds were very comfy. The check directions in the folder in the room did not match check out instructions in the confirmation email. Also they listed the wrong key code for pool/hottub/workout area. Luckily our 3rd day a nice resident told us the actual code. Easy no contact check in and out process. The people were super friendly. We did have one neighboring balcony that smoked weed so much we had to close our windows. This happened several times. The last night there was some kind of domestic disturbance on the beach that kept us up at 2am. A girl screaming, a guy attacking her. The cops showed up. Not the best scene from our balcony. Lots of mini golf courses and food services to choose from.

Was not informed that elevator does not have 7th floor marked correctly. It was marked PH took some in vestigaton. Outlet in bedroom missing face plate. Walls in need of paint repair small damages (holes). Bath tub clean but stained Wall paper needs replacing areas had patches of missing wall paper. View was great oceanfront. Louver closet door needed cleaning. Because the price was very reasonable you get what you pay for. Property Manager prompt with reply and helpful.

Relaxing on the beach
Great location on the beach. Perfect view of the sunrise. I would recommend for no more then 4 people. This condo is on the smaller side and with only the balcony for fresh air. Front room faces the elevators so opening the shades isn’t something I would want to do.

Needs updating... And a good cleaning.
Good layout... Needs deep cleaning. Natalie was overworked. It took her a while to get back with us. Living room th had. O volume three remotes and no instructions to fix it... The front bathroom never had hot water.. Ants crawling in front bedroom bed and in window sill on Sunday morning... It was obviously an old unit.... Built in 1986 I think, and you could tell. Perhaps the new owners will take it to a new level...

Great Location. Bring cleaning supplies.
The condo is right on the beach. It is a 7th floor with a balcony that looks at the Atlantic Ocean. If you aren’t planning to spend a lot of time inside, this is perfect. Additionally, Hurricane Isaias struck while we were here and other than some water inside the front door, we were completely safe from the elements. There is a good chance you will have to wipe up small bits of dirt and dust the cleaning service neglected. Natalie, the property manager, is great at communicating. This place is a good value for the cost.
