“The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. “We absolutely loved our stay in this unique cottage on the water. Beautifully decorated, and clean. Very picturesque views, we loved sitting on the deck looking out at the water and we enjoyed campfires at night. The beds were very comfortable and lots of space for our family. “Family travelled to Ladysmith for a winter reprieve and to spend time with friends living locally. Ladysmith is a unique place, centered well between Victoria and Nanaimo.
