"Kirk is an amazing host. The house is beautiful and well appointed. We needed absolutely nothing the whole week that we couldnt find in the house. (Snorkeling geat, cookware etc...) Howard (groundskeeper) was a pleasure to chat with and and always a phone call away if we needed hiim. All and all it was a perfect, relaxing week."

"This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we will certainly return! We choose Sky Beach Club for the onsite bar and restaurant and modern facility. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Minifridge and full size coffee pit meant we could eat in for breakfast and lunch if we chose. Villa 1 and 2 have lovely views of pool with ocean beyond, yet are secluded behind well maintained landscaping. Pool bar under the watch of Sammy was always a fun place to hang out. Drinks were delicious and Sammy a wealth of knowledge about local happenings. We met many new friends here as you can visit to use the pool if you eat/drink from restaurant. Lobster quesadilla was wonderful! The beach in front of resort is the most beautiful we saw! Almost endless stand of deserted beach. Loved it! Bad points - the road into property is REALLY in poor shape. Go slow and rent a 4 wheel vehicle! Checkin was inattentive. They finally texted us the door code hours after arriving though room was ready. Would have been helpful to drop luggage and see fridge etc before we went to get groceries. Overall a fabulous stay! We will certainly go back! "

"Beautiful pink beach steps away from the cottage. Great snorkeling with colorful, tropical fish and beautiful rocks. We saw a stingray, turtles, and possibly a couple of sharks. There were two cute mama birds nesting on the beach. We got to see the eggs and then the last day the babies after they had hatched. We enjoyed using the kayak and snorkeling gear. The cooler was very convenient and much appreciated. The communication with the property manager was very easy and positive. We really enjoyed going to the Methodist Church down the road. We also love seeing the Glass Window Bridge. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful- Which you can watch from the front porch. We rarely saw people while on the property, but when we did encounter people on the beach or in the stores, everyone was very friendly. We enjoyed the island farm but hate we missed the cinnamon rolls on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Some things to consider: Be prepared for mosquitoes/bugs/flys. Don’t waste your time on Harbor Island. It was a huge disappointment."

"We had a wonderful time with our group of friends. The house was in a nice central location and the house manager was very accommodating. The power went off a couple of times and the house generator came on immediately. That was a great PLUS! My ONLY recommendation would be some upgrades on the small appliances, (no big deal) and dresser’s in the bedrooms, otherwise, it was perfect. We will visit again. We LOVE Eluethera and all the Bahama Islands and the people. 🇧🇸"

"We last visited Eleuthera 40 years ago for our honeymoon. Yes, there have been some changes, however it remains a destination for unspoiled beaches. The Simple Life Cottage was the perfect place to experience this. Watching the sunrise in the morning and seeing a million stars at night. Magical watching fireflies in the nature landscape. Also enjoyed the surprising visits from a friendly Potcake. White like a ghost, as quick as she appeared she would disappear. Explored the history and culture of the neighboring town, be sure and visit Governor’s Harbour for the Friday night fish fry. Thank you for sharing your little slice of Heaven on Earth."

"Privacy, beauty, setting and every possible convenience in a vacation rental on one of the out islands. Top appliances, comfortable furniture, spectacular setting on a near private beach of miles. And to make things best, a wonderful local manager—responsive, knowledgeable,etc. Could not have been more pleased! Compliments to the owners for their thoughtful furnishing and accommodations. A minor point would be the need to replace the beach chairs, but the many patio chairs and tables and lounges were in top condition and extremely nice. Almost fear providing this rating and having massive popularity preclude availability for us later (smile). It was a wonderful getaway."

"Desert Rose was terrific from start to finish. The cozy house sits atop a beautifully turquois piece of the Atlantic ocean. Perfect for what we wanted...to simply relax and be in the surroundings of a largely untrafficed island. Given the central location of the property on Eluthera we traveled the island from top to bottom and enjoyed all of our adventuring and dining.
