Very large apartment for the price. 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, large kitchen and dining area. Was very clean, beds were comfortable and it had a washer which was nice, although we didn't need to use it. Couldn't figure out how to work one of the showers, so we just used the other one. We overall felt safe because there were a couple of pubs on the same street and several people out walking, but the apartment building is right next to a homeless shelter, which became very active in the evening. We heard talking & yelling throughout the night until about 3:30 am, When we came back from dinner, the main building door to the street was open, but there's another door that's secured in order to enter the building further. We were on the 4th floor, so we felt safe, but I did get up a few times during the night when the yelling & noise got loud. It was a short 7-minute walk to the train station, which was great for us.

Had a great 4 night stay at the Torrance Hotel. Very clean room, with kettle, coffee, tea, cookies. Room serviced every day if required. Delicious made to order cooked breakfast and continental buffet included with our stay. Well maintained rooms and beautiful restaurant and bar. Unfortunately on arriving back to the hotel on our last evening after being out the power was out in the hotel. Staff were amazing and assisted us in getting what we needed from our room and set us up in a taxi to go to their sister hotel, the Busby Hotel, in another town 5 miles down the road. We stayed the night there and had great service and similar breakfast the next morning. Got another taxi back to the Torrence hotel. Money was refunded for the taxis. All in all we had a wonderful stay with great service from amazing staff. Will definitely stay there again when back in East Kilbride.

The entire pool and other spa facilities were closed during our stay without advanced notification. Would’ve went somewhere else :( everything else was decent

This hotel is a lovely blend of a wonderful terraced house tastefully decorated and fitted out to simultaneously recognise the house's heritage and presenting modern amenities, the attention to style and detail was impecable. Clearly a labour of love evrything ran smoothly from introduction, to breakfast presented at our bedroom to our departure. Kelvingrove museum is ten minutes walk away and the park across the road was a delightful haven. We would not hesitate to chose this hotel should we return at a future date.
