Merging Waters es una propiedad cerrada, en más de 7 acres cerca de la autopista US 259 en las montañas Ouachita, que es una de las cadenas montañosas más antiguas de los Estados Unidos. En la propiedad hay una cabaña de piedra nativa de dos niveles, única en su tipo, (más de 700 pies cuadrados) cuyas paredes datan de la década de 1950\. Una escalera de caracol de roble a medida conduce al dormitorio y al baño del desván. Hay una cama queen size y el baño tiene una ducha con varita de mano o opciones de cabezales de ducha de lluvia. Desde la buhardilla, las puertas francesas se abren a una cubierta elevada al aire libre. Tiene una hermosa vista del bosque nativo mixto caducifolio y perenne, así como uno de los dos arroyos que se funden en la propiedad. Una escalera exterior engaña al patio trasero cercado. Really enjoyed the cabin, it was clean and comfortable and had some impressive woodwork and great old rock walls. The property is beautiful with the rivers coming together. Saw a bald eagle flying over the river at one point. All in all very relaxing and worth the trip. The cabin was very quaint, the landscape was gorgeous with the creeks behind the cabin and all the trees. The owner was so sweet, and we had some good conversation with her. The only drawback, in my opinion, was the proximity to the road, as there was some traffic noise. This may not bother most people, since you could just hop on the road and go wherever you want. I usually prefer a little more seclusion. But all in all, the cabin was great. I just wish it hadn't rained the whole time. ##### patty b. The cabin was so cozy and clean…the pics don’t do it justice. It was perfectly nestled between the trees, not too far from town but just far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. It’s a beautiful cabin and a beautiful property to stay at. It’s quiet and away from people and there’s lots of land to discover. The cabin has stone walls which keeps it nice and cool even during the hit summer days. Everything in the home works great. Janet was a super helpful, friendly and is literally a phone call away if you need anything. My wife and I enjoyed the property but our favorite moment was sitting on the top balcony while the cool rain fell the second afternoon we were there. The small old house/cabin was too charming and it was very comfortable inside. Everything that u needed was in there. The property outside was very beautiful and the two small rivers and clear water were very spectacular. Caught some Sun perch and a couple of black bass. The property is very secluded as far as other houses being around. Hwy 259 is close by but we didn’t ever notice the noise or anything when we was inside or at the back of the property by the creeks. The days were quiet and secluded, our own little slice of heaven away from anyone. The water was cool and peaceful. We wished this was our property so we never had to leave. We took some amazing drives through the mountains to see some amazing views. Went for dinner in the small town of talihina and saw deer and other wildlife on the drive back. We brought our atv and hit the nearby trails for some more amazing views. Come with food as there is not much nearby making it amazing!!! The host was friendly and offered suggestions. The property owner met us at our arrival and showed us around and answered all our questions. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We were able to communicate via text message with owner and she responded promptly. Just as described make sure to pack everything because there is NO Walmart just down the street. We had a great time even though it rained most of the week. We did have an evening where we were able sit out in lawn chairs and enjoy the river. We would definitely stay there again. ##### Paula M.
