"Location of the house is within the grounds of the owners property so is private and not overlooked by neighbours. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland. Overall a pleasent stay."

"This house was wonderful. It was built in 1612 but modernized on the inside with some old architecture touches. We fully enjoyed our stay here as the house was comfortable and Sandra added many personal touches that were above and beyond expectation! I would highly recommend this place as it’s very close to the downtown area but also quiet."

"Wunderbar zum Entspannen. Eine super nette Gastgeberin. Alle Fragen wurden beantwortet und man hat nen kleinen Ort direkt nebenan. Ich bin zu Fuß auch mal Brötchen holen gegangen über die Felder. Man kann die Zimmer nicht verdunkeln, das als kleiner Tipp für manchen der es braucht. Ansonsten alles gut u wunderbar. Danke. "

"Ich war mit ein paar Freunden im Ferienhaus und wir haben uns von der ersten Minute unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Die Lage lädt zum Verweilen und Innehalten ein. Das Platzangebot ist enorm und alles ist liebevoll hergerichtet, sodass man binnen kurzer Zeit ankommt und entspannt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war ausgesprochen herzlich und angenehm, viele Tipps zu Unternehmungen wurden von uns gerne angenommen. Große Klasse!"

"Wir haben ein wunderbares Sommerwochenende in dem Haus genossen und die Zeit auf der Terrasse verbracht. Dabei ist das Haus so gemütlich eingerichtet, es wurde viel Wert auf Gestaltung und Einrichtung gelegt. Es ist alles da, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, außerdem gibt es Spiele, Bücher, Filme - ein Traum. Eine ideale Unterkunft im Wendland! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)"

"Hier hat alles gestimmt. Tolles, gut ausgestattetes Haus in absolut ruhiger Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Herr Oncken hat sich, telefonisch erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. So einen bemühten, freundlichen Vermieter haben wir selten erlebt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Mein Aufenthalt war die beste Erfahrung eines Ferienaufenthaltes, die ich je gemacht habe. Ich fand eine Wohnsituation vor, die alles bedacht hat, was zu bedenken möglich ist. Auch die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und erahnen emphatisch wieviel Kontakt, Gespräch, etc. gerade gewünscht ist. Die Gegend ist herrlich, die Menschen sehr freundlich. Es ist ein abwechslungsreiches wie auch ruhiges Leben möglich. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen!!!"

"Wie beschrieben liegt das kleine Häuschen idyllisch im Wald, man hört weder Autos noch Flugzeuge oder Menschen - nur Vögel und das Rauschen der Baumwipfel. Das Haus hat alles, was man für einen ruhigen Urlaub benötigt, schnell ist man aber auch in der "Zivilisation". Hätten wir ein wenig besseres Wetter gehabt, wäre der Urlaub perfekt gewesen....... Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal?"

"I was very pleased with our stay in Lüneberg, for my 3 adult member family the apartment was perfect. It offered a very cozy place to unwind at the end of long sightseeing days. We chose to eat out, but the kitchen was modern and efficient; the espresso machine was particularly appreciated by my wife. The location was convenient for us as Lüneburg has many things to see; lots of history in the area but it's also makes for a good jumping off point for Hamburg. The apartments location is a quiet...

"Last review was from 2020. Unfortunately time has not helped. In May 2024 we encountered serious mold smell as we entered the apartment building, extending to the apartment. We had a serious allergic reaction to the mold and could not stay in the apartment. We left without unpacking and booked another hotel elsewhere. Neither the Owner nor Expedia through which we booked would refund the rental cost even though the apartment was uninhabitable to us."
