Negombo4 nights3.0 star property8.4/10 - Very good (251 reviews)"This property we booked in negambo. Property is not maintained well. Though location wise it is good, near to airport. It has a dead vibe even it is sea facing. Buffet was having lots of options but those were not eatable. When we checked in room AC was not working, door lock was also not functioning. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone"Reviewed September 29, 2026Roundtrip • New York (JFK) - Colombo (CMB)JFK - CMB • 1 stop CMB - JFK • 1 stop$1,752$1,423found 1 day agoper traveler - Sofia Colombo City Hotel

"We're a New Zealand family of four living in the UAE and stayed for eight nights in mid October. We had a fantastic holiday and would happily return. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the traditional Sri Lankan welcome dance was a lovely touch. All rooms face the ocean. Our spacious rooms had great views of the beach and pools, comfortable beds, good bathrooms and excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety, fresh fruit, juices, an omelette station, French...

"The property is stunning and beautifully crafted, every corner of the property was picture perfect and aesthetic. The staff were extremely friendly and the manager, Rohan was super helpful - he helped us book our safari and massages. The pool is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos and is clean. The breakfast being included was super helpful and was very yummy with a good selection and excellent ingredients. Neem is extremely peaceful and relaxing. The beach right outside the hotel is...

"Our stay in the garden villa was really great. It was clean and spacious with a semi outdoor bathroom. The pool area was straight in front of the ocean so you could watch the waves from your sunbed. Surf board hire was cheap with a large range of boards. Drinks were cheap and food yummy."
