“VRBO owner Filomena Benevento's title should be the "ambassador" of historical city Tricarico! Filomena was gracious for having a late evening dinner with local goodies in the fridge due to our late arrival, to taking us on a tour of her city. Once she discovered we were wine producers from California on a research trip of Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Aglianico in the Basilicata wine region, she arranged the meeting of local Cantina owners to view their vineyards and very historic cantinas. “The apartment has everthing you need and is in a good location to explore the area. Filomena was a very helpful host and was always on hand to advise. She took us on a very interesting walk around the town including a guided tour of the tower.”
