Our stay was wonderful. The staff was so incredibly kind. From the front desk and breakfast staff to housekeeping. Everyone was so accommodating. I would love to stay here again. The breakfast was wonderful and had a variety of items.

Definitely needs to be updated. Dirty and extremely noisy from people above us and outside our room. Breakfast was dry and didn’t taste very good. Probably the worst holiday in express I’ve stayed at unfortunately.

It was a full hotel, granted. There were several high school parties staying, and they were pretty loud late into the night (past midnight). I did call front desk to ask about it, but they brushed me off as just a large group checking in; but that was not the case, the noise was above and around us (we were on the second floor). I don't necessarily blame hotel staff for the noise, but they didn't attempt any intervention. Our room key didn't work on day two when we arrived back at our room in the evening (after already paying for the 3 days), and we waited about 30 minutes at the front desk to get our keys reactivated while one person, apparently the only employee on duty, was checking others in. Other guests were also waiting to get clean towels and had keys that didn't work. The breakfast attendant, Christine, was lovely and accommodating. She should have been in charge of housekeeping! We stayed 3 nights, and our room was not serviced at all while we were there. We had to request fresh towels, which they left on the second day, but did no other cleaning. The room was otherwise well appointed. The carpet seemed sticky in some places though. It really was not a bad stay, but I expected a bit better from the Holiday Inn brand.

Don’t stay here…
Rooms are run down, beds are full size not queens. Carpets were filthy, blinds broken and didn’t open. People were loud everyday starting at 5 am. Yelling up and down hallways, elevator and ice machine loud which was right outside our room. Called about the blinds and they said someone would come help with them and no one ever showed up. One of the reasons for staying here was full breakfast was included. Yet the pancake machine was broken and orange juice was out of service.
Blinds didn’t roll up and no one ever came to help with them.
Beds are full size not queen
Carpets were filthy, barely any space in room. Bed by the window was turned so it could fit in the small room. Had to be sideways because of the wall heater that didn’t really work.
Full breakfast was supposed to be included but pancake machine wasn’t working or the orange juice. So basically it was continental breakfast besides some soggy turkey sausage and watery scrambled eggs.

Pros: The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable. The location of the room we were in was in the back corner so it was quiet. Parking was included. Cons: The local “live” entertainment that occupied the corner a few streets down. It didn’t appear that the facility was vacuumed as the same trash remained on the floor the entire 4 days we were there. I was looking for a hotel. While this is a hotel, it had a motel feel and was very dated. The ironing board desperately needs a new cover. The shower had hair in it, the night stand with the alarm clock had hair on it, and the bathroom floors were dirty. The sink smelled pretty foul.

When we got there to check in, we got our room key and went to the room. It was locked from the inside. We went back to the counter and the room was already filled, it was the only king bed room they had and that’s what we paid for. We were offered 2 queens with no discount or room comp. We took the room and in the bathroom there was dirty rags in the bathroom and what appeared to be boogers wiped on the wall by the toilet. We were on the 3rd floor and the ice machine wasn’t working so you had to go to the first floor. There were spider webs in the hall ways that you walked thru. Also, for what ever reason our TV was unplugged from the back of tv. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me.

Rented out 2 rooms, one of our rooms the air wasn’t working, the other the tv wasnt working, the bath tub was separating from the wall, the room smelled like piss, on one of the days breakfast didn’t start till past 7, they never came in to clean the rooms, half the time our keys weren’t working so we had to keep going back to the front desk to get it fixed, there was also blood on the hallway, basically I would not go back to this specific Holiday Inn.

Older hotel, needs some work. Not up to Holiday Inn standards I would expect. Broken TV, dirty towels. There was a 'clean ' washcloth with the previous guest hair still in the washcloth. Not a great neighborhood. There was a lady in the front of the hotel/parking lot that appeared to be very drunk or high on meth. Call girls down on the corner day and night. Bright spot was the front desk staff They did a good job getting us a decent room after the first two were unacceptable.

The hotel was booked for a visit at Disneyland. That being said i though it was too far to the park and did not improve anything compared to the hotels near Disneyland. The staff was at best disengaged but got the job done. The pool and gym quite frankly were just sad. I would rate this one on the lower end of the holiday inn express hotels. I generally am very pleased with this chain. For the purpose of my stay I would try another property next time

Oh, where we can get away?
The location was great! Clean room 1st day room was cleaned picked up and we received new towels, 2nd day no one had been In to pick up trash in garbage bins nor gotten new towels ( I had to call for new towels.) 3rd day prior to leaving room for the day I requested the sheets to be switched out, that wasn’t done when we arrived and our key cards were no longer working and once I walked into the office, there was a note saying they were closed if I needed anything to contact them so we did. They gave me a new key to enter the room and that is when we realize nothing had been done, the sheets were the same. The towels weren’t replaced. The trash wasn’t taken out.

Not good and not bad.
Stay was comfortable however our key card kept deactivating and I didn’t realize that the rooms are technically open to the elements. We had a huge water bug that startled me in the middle of the night when I went to the bathroom and I know that wouldn’t have been the case of it wasn’t for the layout of the hotel.
