"Host is friendly and helpful, there are animals around which can be fun for kids. It's great as a base if you are going to go on bike rides or to the beach. The apartment itself is a bit small and dark for staying in all day if the weather is bad. Kitchen was okay, but I wish it had sugar in it or an espresso machine. The village is not really a village, just some houses by the road. For shopping you need to bike into Ribnitz."

Einen angestellten haben wir gefragt wegen den Tieren füttern , weil es Fütterungszeit war , und er meinte 10 Minuten und daraus wurde ne Stunde , dann hatten meine Kinder keine Lust mehr gehabt. Uns wurde der Hof mit den Tieren nicht gezeigt , und alleine auf dem Hof sind wir nicht gegangen , weil die Hunde dann ständig gebellt haben. "Moderne saube Ferienwohnung mit geräumigen Badezimmer. Allerdings ist sie eher für 2 Personen ausgelegt, da auch nur 2 Sitzplätze in der Küche vorhanden sind. Es ist keine Spülmaschine vorhanden, so wie es in der Beschreibung angegeben wurde! Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Vermieter, die recht freundlich ablief, wurde mitgeteilt, dass es sich um einen Fehler handelt und dieser behoben wird. Nun sind 3 Wochen vergangen und die Änderung wurde bisher nicht vorgenommen. Schade! Für längere Aufenthalte...

"Fantastic boutique hotel. We stayed at the property on our way to a cruise and I've got to say this was amazing. As we entered the property we checked in at the bar which was quick and easy. Our room was large, clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel was near shopping, the rail, the cruise port and hop and go adventures. What more can you ask for? If you're looking for a weekend getaway, this is definitely a town you should check out and this is a hotel suitable for a romantic getaway or even a girls fun weekend. No matter what your adventure, this hotel and this little town should be on your bucket list. Don't miss the Penta hotel in Rostock!"

"The room was comfortable, if smaller than some we have used and there were no tea/coffee making facilities but generally OK. Staff were friendly and helpful although parking could be better (we have a disabled badge and parked on-street which was more convenient). Breakfast was good. The surrounding area was fairly scruffy as clearly this part of Rostock is still in the process of development/improvement. Restaurants were on the other side of what was effectively a dual carriageway with few convenient crossing points but a good choice of outlets. Rostock as a whole is not an obvious place to visit but there is plenty to see from both the historic and communist eras. The beach resort of Warnemunde is good for high-end shopping and eating although the beach itself is a disappointment. Bad Doberan is worth a visit for the minster church and the "Molli" narrow-gauge railway."
