“Internet was very slow. Staff, not great. Nobody works during the night. Freezing cold rooms and when trying to put the heaters on, they don't work. You have to sleep with scarves and jackets on. Breakfast is terrible. Bathroom door is made of glass and the bathroom has a window towards the living room, with the blinds on the living room side of the glass. Personnel always makes sure that you know when they are closing or leaving. Pillows are terrible also, and bedding had a humid feel.”

“Es ist zweckmäßig wenn man nur etwas zum schlafen sucht. Die Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ist eher suboptimal. 1.5 km bis zur einzig regelmäßig angefahrenen Bushaltestelle. Uns hat es nicht gestört aber für Menschen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, sollte dies deutlich kommuniziert werden.”

“Arriving by train had to ask how to get to hotel as having NO working handy coming from oversees . The access to hotel very steep and a challenge using a walker (rollator), however it was very nice of the receptionist/manager backing down a car to manage the steep hill, although there are 45 steps to use. Later on enjoying a beer/wine in the very quiet lobby using the rocking chairs. To explore Meissen, we used a taxi from hotel - called by staff - to the Dom and from there a sight seeing bus...
