While the local ingredients in the markets are fantastic, and we also have a small library of great Italian cookbooks in the apartment, the choice of restaurants in talking distance does mean that eating out is irresistible! Here's a translation from the German review above: "Great spacious apartment We felt very comfortable in this apartment. It is very spacious and has two great terraces with views. To spend two weeks there we found in the apartment everything we needed. Also for cooking it has enough utensils, if one wants to use these. We chose the other way, to support the many good restaurants, which could be reached within a short time. Simply "Dolce far niente". David is a very pleasant and friendly host who can be contacted at any time, if the two contact persons in the Salento are not reachable."

Viele Restaurants beginnen, am Ende des Monats zu schließen, aber es gibt einen harten Kern der hervorragenden Orte, die in ganz offen bleiben, oder zumindest die meisten Tage. Lieblings Monate sind Juni und der ersten Julihälfte, wenn alles öffnet und das Wetter ist herrlich, oder September, wenn es noch sehr schön, alles ist offen, aber nicht zu viel zu tun, und das Meer ist sehr warm.
