We had a lovely 9 night stay in August. The Gite is well equipped with all you could need, it's comfortable and clean. We arrived during a heatwave, so it was very hot indeed, but the fans were a welcome relief in the bedrooms. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with tips in the area, it was my husband's birthday whilst there and a special little treat from them along with local fruit & veg from their garden. We would love to come back and visit again. For those staying nearby, Espace Hermeline is fab for the kids and La Sabriek restaurant served very good traditional French cuisine. Thank you Seyda & Ray for a lovely stay.

Great!

We had a great stay at this gîte. The property is clean, quiet, and well maintained. The house is comfortable and fully equipped for a short or long stay.The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. We appreciated, the garden, the pool, the bbq...This gîte is a great choice for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay in the area. We would stay here again.

A wonderful stay

The property is wonderful, larger than the photos show with plenty of room for six if needed. We stayed for a week, and explored Limoges and the surrounding area. The property was easy to find and good access to roads to drive into Limoges and wider afield. The property is fully equipped with everything you will need and was very comfortable to spend time in. The gardens and pool are great and the location is quiet and comfortable. There was great communication with the owners, who were always on hand if needed with tips and advice. We could not recommend the property enough and we will be back.

Klein paradijs

Heerlijk rustig in een opgefriste gîte na een hartelijk onthaal van de nieuwe en attente eigenaars. (We kwamen aan op zondagnamiddag en zij hadden ‘‘s morgens voor ons boodschappen gedaan omdat de winkel om 12u dicht ging!) Genoeg activiteiten in de buurt in combinatie met afkoeling van het zwembad of een wijntje in de lounge… les vacances!

Excellent séjour!! Cadre très agréable et calme, la piscine est super pour jouer avec les enfants. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très réactifs quand il y a un soucis.

Wonderful place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chez Lucy (renamed La Petite Colline). The new owners, Seyda and her family have completed a lot of work on the Gite, and we were lucky enough to be their first guests. The new furniture and beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need. They live next door so if you ever need anything they are on hand. Having a bbq on site is the perfect way to cook your evening meal then just eat, drink some wine and listen to the birds singing. The garden and patio areas look great with the cherry trees full of fruit during our stay. The pool with its own seating area overlooking the owners own field and we were lucky enough to see a female deer and her fawn walk across whilst we dried off in the sun after a refreshing dip. The Gite is so quiet and peaceful it’s the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The nearest supermarket is only a few minutes drive away in Châlus, and if you fancy fresh pastries or bread for breakfast the local boulangerie is just a little further in to the town.
