The room was clean and so was the bathroom. They had multiple options of tea. The stag was helpful to a certain extent. Some are hesitant with their English so knowing a few Lao words can come in handy. The dinner for May first was amazing lots of variety. The room had a great view.

We particularly enjoyed the silly-but-fun luge ride. The canopy walk was also beautiful, even though the waterfall wasn't running due to it being the dry season. The pool was refreshing. Service at the restaurant, however, was quite slow.

The room was listed with AC but clearly this is an error. Check-in instructions on Expedia are nonexistent, and necessary, especially if arriving by bus as there is no phone signal in the area. The food is ok (you are a bit of a captive market there) but expect a lot to be missing from the menu. ...
