The young man at the desk was friendly, polite and helpful, the woman, however, was rather cold and not helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Amenities were lacking such as no coffee or tea anywhere in the building.

I rent no less than 3 stars. Royal Plaza was rated 3 stars. It was not!! I needed to use the bathroom when I arrived, but was a bit early to check-in and there was no bathroom available outside of in-room bathrooms. Later, at check in, the desk clerk was very rude. Everyone knows that a credit card is required at check in for many reasons, one being damage security and therefore the clerk doesn't need to tell you that. This clerk talk to ne in a degrading manner, as if I've never stayed in a hotel. She said, "We need your credit card in case you smoke in the room, damage something in the room, and if we find something missing, we will charge your card for it." I specifically chose a no smoking room, and believe me, there was nothing in this hotel I would want to take home. I've giving away much better furniture than was in this room. The drawers had no handles. The Direct TV didn't work. No cleaning was done behind the furniture in the room, it was very dusty. There was less than basic amenities in the room. The shower curtain was soiled with red stains. The drain plunger didn't work. The finish on the side table was peeling. The carpet went up the wall and the staff didn't use the hose of the vacuum to clean between the wall and floor. The towels had been washed I'm sure, but they were rough and stained. I packed soap, There was one small round disc of soap in the room. The sheets looked clean. That's it.

For 300 a night this was a horrible deal. This motel has no amenities, crap beds and etc. taking advantage of the winter rates in the area to charge at least three times what it’s worth.

Overall it was a good experience. Room was clean. It needs some refurbishing and outside noises were annoying while trying to sleep but I would book again.

I liked that I was the only car parked on premise besides one parked at front lobby entrance and the lighting was good and the front desk person had a monitor of 9 or so cameras of the outside pre.ises and my car was visually licated outside the desk lobby

The area is run down. The room did not have heat unless I ordered a portable heater. TV screen was out of frame. Sliding door wouldn’t lock with much effort. The check in person was very accommodating.

This is not the Hyatt Regency but is a clean and friendly place to stay for a reasonable rate. I am a mature woman who travels solo and I will have no problem staying there again. Shoutout to Nicole at the front desk who helped me with my luggage and walker.

The staff were nice, however no running hot water in the shower. Unable to adjust heater and it kept getting colder in the night. A lot of homeless across the street in a drugged daze. Had to wipe all the counters since they were covered in a layer of dust. Got in for a good price but glad it was just for one night.

Quick and easy check in the hotel front desk receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. The only complaint is how noisy the ac unit in the room was. It's a very outdated hotel. Other than that the room was clean and the pool was nice to swim in.

Pool was filthy jacuzzi same I got a Rash all over my body for using pool and jacuzzi Dirty wash rag left in shower from last guest 8/2 my husband used the wash cloth to shower thinking it was mine!
