"Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. "Mountain Top Park Hotel was a great place for us to stay! We stayed for a week. The staff is SUPER nice and helpful and accommodating. They really spend the time to make you feel welcome and make your stay as easy as possible. The only downside of the hotel is the surrounding area there’s not a ton to do if you’re staying for a few days or more. But the grounds of the hotel is gorgeous and walking around in the mountain top park is so cool. We saw so much wildlife even from our balcony!! It was the coolest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Truly loved it and so thankful for the staff!! "
