“Rachel’s Place is a unique cottage, with everything you could need. We happened to occupy the cottage directly during the terrible national storm. Since no one was registered to stay immediately after us, we extended our stay by one day to allow the road conditions to improve somewhat. “Tiny Cabin in the woods! Great little brwak from reality! Definitely would be great to spend with a significant other. Away from pretty much everything. Don't come out here if you are wanting to be near people because there isnt any. Which was exactly what i needed. I would have loved to have a window blind or something on the kitchen window and a little more comfier couch(but i was warned that the couch wasn't anything special). “The place was very nice. We loved the house and the area it was in. The host was quick to respond and helpful to any questions or concerns we had. An amazing place to stay for a a vacation or retreat, I definitely recommend it. My spouse and I were very happy with it. It was clean and very well taken care of. There's plenty of local things to do and places to eat and it is not far if you're wanting to travel to other nice areas. 10/10 recommendation ”

They were attentive and super responsive to my requests and I really appreciated it. For example, one of the frying pans were in really rough condition. “Check-in was easy and they were responsive to my questions about getting heat turned on! Clean and fresh!! Kitchen appliances up to date, no dishwasher, but not a problem for me! “The host was quick to answer questions and provide suggestions. It was very clean and most everything worked with exception of the ice delivery on the fridge and also the dryer was out of order. There was also some other fees that weren’t disclosed up front. Overall, nice quiet atmosphere. Be careful entering the gate area from the road as it is pretty rough and there are some potholes to avoid on the road once thru the gate.”
