The house is fabulous and the grounds perfect; a hugely characterful old stone house subtly furnished with a mix of old and new but equipped with all you need for a home from home. "A really comfortable cottage with necessary equipment provided. The steps leading to the entrance were quite dangerous and would be of concern to the elderly or infirm. An information sheet would have been helpful as we didnt know how to operate the heating system or that we were responsible for purchasing the fuel. The owners, however, were very helpful and in particular, helped us when our car broke down. Overall, I would recommend the property but only to younger or fitter guests."
