Lovely 1 bedroom apartment with indoor fireplace

Enjoy all Paris has to offer from our peaceful and heart of the historic district one bedroom apartment. Decorated to a high standard with classic French decor, true king sized bed, hardwood floors, underfloor heating, air-conditioning, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchenette, new Nespresso machine and pods provided, Marriage Frere tea, soaking tub with L’Occitane toiletries for your enjoyment. 12 min walk to Notre Dame, 20 min. walk/5 min metro to the Louvre, and 10 min from Place des Vosges.
The space:
Our apartment is 450 sq ft or 43 meters sq. on the 6th floor (no elevator) of a historic 17th century Parisian building once the home of Voltaire’s sister. We have both air-conditioning for the summer and heated floors for the winter, and in door fireplace which can be enjoyed both from the bedroom and reclining in the bath. Even though our apartment is truly in the heart of historic Paris, it is an oasis of quiet and comfort from which to explore. There is a true king sized high quality bed in the bedroom and a high quality double bed in the pull out couch.

The kitchen is stocked with an oven, cooktop, microwave, tea pot, and nespresso machine and all those things you need to make a delicious meal, should you like a night off from exploring all of the amazing places in the neighborhood.

Paid parking is very close by at Hotel de Ville.
Other things to note:
The cobble stone courtyard is original and pre-French revolution. The wood paneling in the master bedroom is original 18th century.

Heart of Marais
Location, location, location! Clean with great bathroom. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioners work well. Only negative were the stairs with luggage. Also, there could have been better amenities. I appreciated Nathan providing me with a blow dryer. There were no facial tissues, bath gel or shampoo. We also could not get the Nespresso coffee machine to work and no pods were provided. Otherwise, lovely apartment as advertised.

Great Location
The location was perfect. We were close to a grocery store, bakery and all kinds of other shops. The apartment was comfortable and we didn't mind walking up the 5 flights of stairs after eating all the delicious food in the area. Would definitely stay there again.

Great apartment
Lovely apartment with great layout and in a great location. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for our party of 3. Having the ability to check into the apartment in the morning was great since our flight landed in the morning. Alexis was waiting at the apartment to greet us upon our arrival and was very welcoming.

Check in process could have been much better. I had to contact VRBO to get the owners information for check in. Our incoming trip was delayed and the property manager meeting suggested we compensate because they had been there waiting for us to arrive a really long time. The check out process we had issues as well. Upon checking out we were told “twice” to place the keys in the table and leave. Upon leaving the next day we received several calls and suggesting a lock smith would now need to be called. If the property management company changed this would easily be 5 stars. Great location and apartment!

Le Marais pied-a’-terre
We throughly enjoyed our time in Paris and this apartment was the perfect landing spot for our family of 3 (my husband, myself & our 18 year old daughter). The apartment is surrounded by quaint restaurants & shops - immediate experience of Paris Joie de vo-vre upon walking in the neighborhood. It is an easy walk to the Seine, Notre Dame & Metro stations. We were so comfortable in the apartment - the bedroom has a true king size bed. The sleeper sofa was comfortable for our daughter. Air conditioning worked great for the times we needed it. The bathroom is just beautiful and has laundry. The kitchen was great too with Nespresso coffee and an apartment size fridge. Which is all we really needed because it was too fun to eat out in the surrounding neighborhood. As others have mentioned … there is a steep spiral staircase up to the apartment. Which we did not mind and even enjoyed the extra workout….but it was challenging with our bags. We would definitely stay in Nathan’s place again - I hope it is available next time we are lucky enough to return. :)

Long weekend in Paris
The apartment was very nice, there was more than enough room for 2 adults. AC worked great, although we didn't need it much. There are a lot of stairs leading up to the apartment (and no elevator), so if stairs are problematic for your party this is probably not the place for you. Communication and location were fantastic!

Perfect location
We really loved our stay here, such a perfect location and a friendly area of Paris we would definitely come again if we had the chance! The apartment is on 5th floor with no lift so be ready for the stairs which are a bit rickety lol. Alexis was so great checking us in considering we got lost getting there as the Metro station we were meant to get off at was closed that day. As we had booked last minute due to our other host cancelling on us, Alexis had made an appointment for the wall heater in the bathroom to be fixed so we did have workmen there at 8.30am on the Friday morning which was a little strange especially as they were in our bedroom and we are 3 girls staying there, but I'm sure this was a one-off. There was also wet washing in the machine and wet bedding hanging up in one of the cupboards which meant we couldn't use it as it made the other clothes damp. I can only assume this is because of our late booking. We were also without the internet from the second morning for the rest of our time there which was really inconvenient and meant I chewed through my data on my phone very quickly - this was still not fixed when we left. The pillows look amazing but weren't too comfortable and sadly there were no staples in the kitchen so be prepared to buy everything from scratch. There were coffee pods though and the machine makes a lovely coffee! So in summary it's a really beautiful space and ideally located, despite the glitches we highly recommend!

Best Hideaway in Paris
The location is better than perfect. Many shops and restaurants in all directions. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. You can start experiencing and enjoying Paris right outside your door. Easy walking distance to major attractions like the Louvre, Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame. We would stay here again.

Perfect Location
First off, the location is ideal. The Marais is full of great restaurants, bars and shops. It’s also a quick walk to the Seine which puts the left bank in close proximity. The apartment is lovely and has everything you need. It was clean and well furnished. The communication and check in was easy. I’d stay here again.

Wonderful Parisian Hospitality
From start to finish this was a great experience. The flat was just lovely, exactly how described and as the pictures show in the listing. Nathan was very responsive to my questions prior to booking and made sure we had all the information we needed prior to arrival. The flat itself is even more spacious than it appears in the photos (spacious enough for a comfortable extended stay) and it was very well equipped with everything you will need. Check in and check out were both seamless, Alexis was so helpful and kind. The location is really convenient to plenty of restaurants and transportation. Overall, just a wonderful experience and we look forward to staying here again.

The property is great, with all the amenities you need for a shorter or longer stay. Checking in and out was a breeze and the owner and manager were always available. The location of this property is the best and, although you’re on the 5th floor without elevator, is good to do some exercise when you’re eating all those croissants! :)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property looks just as pictured and was very clean. The property manager, Alexis, met us at the apartment and let us check-in early/store our luggage which was really helpful as it allowed us to make the most of our first day in Paris. Alexis and Nathan also left us a bottle of wine and coffee which was a really thoughtful touch. We'd stay here again!

PERFECTLY PERFECT
The photos do not do the apartment justice , much bigger than it looks. In a perfect location centre but very quiet. Good size kitchen on entry, excellent equipment and very kindly a welcome bottle of wine and coffee left. The bathroom is gorgeous, with a remote screen for privacy. Very large sofa in the lounge area leading to a good sized bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. The apartment was spotlessly clean with lots of extra towels and excellent Wi-Fi. Yes it is on the 5th floor but we soon got used to the stairs. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect stay in Paris
This property had everything you could want for a cozy and charming stay in Paris - located in a great neighborhood for wandering, very walkable to a number of highlights. The apartment itself is beautiful and well equipped - with the fireplace and bathtub being the stars, but lots of other lovely touches as well. Check in and communication was completely seamless, and the host was very helpful in answering my questions as I settled in.

Absolutely perfect charming apartment and location
We had the most beautiful time at the apartment. The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the Marais and is a beautiful home away from home. Charming , clean and modern yet old and full of charm . The amenities were perfect and I cannot imagine having stayed anywhere else . Groceries right out of the front door and located in the heart of the Marais and yet very quiet. Be prepared for the 5 floor walk up lol but you also get a nice workout which isn’t a bad thing either . I will highly recommend Nathans apartment
