The property staff was very accommodating. Heat and AC never kicked on so no circulation of air in the room. Room was abnormally quiet without a fan cycling. Shower floor is very slippery, so be mindful. Latch on window was broke but functional. Staff called to fix, but since we were in the room, they said they’d fix it another day. Outlet near bed had prong broke off in it so we could not use. Overall, it was a great stay and I would go back.

The hotel was great, the room was really nice and well appointed, and it also had air conditioning, which was a bonus…the breakfast was good with a good variety. The location was fantastic, close to a lot of restaurants and shops, but far enough away that it was still a quiet area. One thing to note, there is a church across the street that rings their bells a lot in the mornings, we got used to it, but if you wanted to sleep in, it could be an issue… We would recommend this hotel!

This hotel was amazing. Had all the necessities. Blow dryer. Shampoo. Conditioner. They even had converters just asl the receptionist. There was a laundry mat down the st which was perfect since we were coming back from Italy. Around the corner there were also so many cafés. There was even a farmers market. All walking distance. And of Couse just a few blocks away from Notre-Dame Cathedral. Staff were so helpful.

Hotel Oratio was a nice place to stay on the Left Bank, in the Latin Quarter, right next to an old church with beautiful bells that ring each hour. The location is ideal because it is not far to walk to the Pantheon, Luxembourg park, Nortre Dame, Saint-Chappell. There is an ATM and a pharmacy about a block away, The hotel Staff were attentive and communicative, gave helpful ideas for restaurants. I visited Paris with my mom for her 70th birthday at the end of October (2026). The hotel had an elevator (albeit small) that helped my mom who has mobility issues. Besides the breakfast room in the basement and a dedicated area to get coffee/tea, filtered water, there weren’t any other amenities. The daily breakfast was good, with hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage), pastries, yogurt, fresh bread daily, variety of cold cuts and specialty cheeses, fruit/vegetables, fresh-squeezed orange juice and grapefruit juice, The room was cleaned daily and it had air conditioning, which was a big must for me, since I tend to run hot even during winter or rainy/stormy days. The bathroom was small, with a stand-up shower, but it was always clean with beautiful tile. They had bathrobes and shower slippers in the bathroom, which was nice. Suggestions for improvement include adding a fan for the bathroom to dissipate the steam from the shower; using sturdier mattresses with more back support; and adding more hot food items such as hash browns, country fried potatoes, french toast, stewed tomatoes

Lovely and helpful staff! Breakfast room was cute, but in the basement. Location was great and very central and convenient. There’s a pretty church right outside the hotel, however the bells go on every hour and half hour, so it’s definitely something to consider.
