efficient place for our family; construction happening outside summer 2024

Nicole was really great to communicate with; there is construction happening right outside the door; this was fine for us as we were on the go each day but if you need quiet during the day this will be a consideration during summer of 2024.

Flat is clean and conveniently located, but not charming. Also very noisy at night due to neighboring bar - could not get to sleep until 130am. Flat itself has 3 rooms with beds - double and single upstairs with non-opening windows, double downstairs with no window at all. Comms were ok although instructions for retrieving key were only provided on day of arrival.

2 Räume hatten kein zu öffnendes Fenster, Luft von daher stickig. Die Spülmaschine konnte wegen Schimmelgeruch nicht benutzt werden. Für manuelles Spülen war kein Geschirrtuch vorhanden. Besteck und Geschirr für 5 Personen war nicht vorhanden.

Nice place, good location

Convenient location, close to metro and RER, walking distance to some attractions. Rooms are clean, everything is working fine. The only thing of note - when it is hot outside, it is quite hot inside as well.

Disappointing stay and experience

We were very disappointed in our stay. The property is essentially a renovated storefront, not meant as an apartment and does not have a very conducive set up. The bathroom is downstairs where one bedroom is, while the other bedrooms are upstairs (the stairs are very steep and hard to go up and down). In addition, the property had a musty smell and started to smell like mold upon showering. The door to enter the property did not fully seal shut, allowing pests to enter from outside/the street. Although we initially had good communication with the host, communication stopped mid-stay once we reached out about a left item. We had AirPods STOLEN from the property and not returned to us. A very disappointing and frustrating experience for our entire party - would NOT RECOMMEND staying at this property or using this host.

Horrible

Unfit for a rental, Nicole is dismissive and unprofessional. We arrived at the unit and saw that it was originally retail space that had beds in it. There was no ventilation so the air was stagnant and musty. The temperature was extreme and dangerous. There were no windows to open for air. It would be impossible to stay there with this condition. The Dusty fan and leaving the door open, at street level was not a solution. The stairs down to basement, bedroom and bathroom were not deep enough to fit my size 6 foot. It was very dangerous. As the only bathroom is downstairs it would not be safe in the middle of the night let alone in the day to use these steps and steep staircase. The only bathroom downstairs had long term mold in it. We informed the owner that we were leaving within the first hour and requested our money back due to these issues being dangerous and unsafe. We have not heard back from the owner directly since June 30th stating our concerns. We requested a full refund due to the false representation and safety issues. Last night, I was asked by vrbo to call the owner with them as a mediator for the refund. Nicole was very dismissive, she pretended she didn’t know what we were discussing then stated that every apartment in Paris is the same. Not true in fact I’ve stayed in lovely places for less that would not put you at risk. I have rental units and know the standard to uphold. A refund is in order.

Appartement propre et bien équipé.

Comfortable, avec deux chambres à coucher, avec porte directement au rez-de-chaussée. Quelques suggestions. En absence de fenêtres ouvrables, il serait souhaitable un vasistas ou autre moyen pour un rechange d'air plus approprié. En outre, un petit armoire dans chacune des deux chambres à coucher est fortement recommandé.

Affordable 2 bedroom Appartment

We had a great stay. Nicole was easy to work with and helpful. Appartment location is very close to bus and metro and easy to get to all the major sites within 15 -30 min. The Appartment is a little older and had some signs of aging but was clean and affordable compared to other 2 bedroom Appartments. Would stay here again

La désillusion !!! Passez votre chemin !!

Par où commencer ?! Nous sommes arrivés prêtes à commencer notre petit week-end parisien entre copines mais nous ne pensions pas tomber sur de telles « surprises » dès notre arrivée. Première mésaventure qui commence. Nous sommes devant l’appartement et j’appelle la propriétaire comme prévu pour qu’elle m’envoie des codes pour avoir les clés. Elle nous oublie et nous passons 10-15mn en plein soleil (sous la canicule parisienne m) avec nos bagages... Elle finit par nous répondre finalement. Nous rentrons et nous restons perplexe ... nous n’avons pas l’impression d’arriver dans l’appartement que nous avions choisi sur le site (mobiliers manquants et odeur bizarre). Nous décidons de faire un tour de la priorité et stupeur ... nous rencontrons une montagne de moisissure à l’étage inférieur dans la salle de bain et dans la chambre, la peinture qui s’effrite de partout, le sol n’est pas propre, les draps sont sales, des insectes morts et des toiles d’araignées jaugent les recoins de la maison, de la poussière en veux-tu en voila, du mobilier cassé, des tiges de fers qui sortent du mur, des traces des anciens locataires sont encore présentes. J’appelle donc la propriétaire sur le champ en lui notifiant l’état de son appartement et elle me certifie que la dame s’occupant de l’entretien vient de passer. Je lui notifie aussi le dégât des eaux et la moisissure. Tout d’abord elle me dit que cela est arrivé la veille, puis qu’elle l’a vu la veille puis qu’elle va s’en occuper ... bref plusieurs versions qui ne vont pas. Je lui dit que ce n’est pas possible car nous avons une personne asthmatique dans notre groupe d’amis et qu’il n’était pas possible pour nous de dormir dans de telles conditions. Elle ne me trouve aucune solution et la seule chose qui lui importe c’est que si nous partons que le site lui libère le crénaux horaire pour booker d’autres personnes. Nous finissons par lui dire que nous ne pouvons absolument pas rester, je lui envoie les photos pour preuves de mon honnêteté sur la vétusté et l’insalubrité de son logement (elle n’est au courant de rien... alors qu’elle est la propriétaire) et nous devons donc trouver une autre alternative dans les minutes qui suivent notre décision. Vous finissons par trouver quelque chose de très bien à quelques pas de là. Pour conclure : très mauvaise expérience, logement insalubre, non conforme aux photos du site, propriétaire qui n’est pas à l’écoute et qui ne propose aucune solution. Passez votre chemin !!!
