“I loved the bluegrass and gospel music jamboree that they had on Thursday night.”

“The Chestnut Lodge accommodations were nice. They had a Keurig in the room. The rooms were clean, and spacious. Beautiful views and very relaxing place. We enjoyed dining at the library and hanging out in the main stone lodge lobby area. We also done a private tour of all the scene film locations to the movie Dirty Dancing.”

“No microwave, mini fridge has no freezer, no ice machine on each floor, no food allowed in the rooms, coffee cups small and no lids. Beds were clean and comfortable and bathroom nice size and clean”

“The room was clean. However there was maintenance being done on the wall on second floor with the fan blowing somewhat loud.”

“Property was an old motel but the room had been remodeled. The bed spread was old though & I had the suite & the kitchenette had no linens. It was good for the price though & they accepted pets for a small fee.”

“Super clean, comfortable and well thought out room layout, nice and new decor, and breakfast was great! Would definitely stay here again.”

“Hotel only open 2 weeks so everything is new. My biggest complaints are one of the elevators was not working, long wait to ride; ice maker on every other floor, one on the first floor not working. I also wanted to take breakfast to my room, no trays to carry several items. Otherwise every thing else was perfect!”

“These folks were more than accommodating, they were Kind, Resourceful, Mind their own business kind of people. Sure, they were working on upgrading the property, just like any business that needs to survive. The room was clean, bug free, and quiet. I would recommend this motel to anyone in the area!”
