"This is a very special place nestled in the jungle of a small village. The hot tub is fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped and the communication with Mary and José was fast and great. If you are looking for a peaceful place to rest, look no further. However, when I originally booked it, the listing said the location was in Centro, Bacalar. "I loved this hotel. This was my 3rd time in Bacalar and so far is the best hotel that I have stayed so far. I travel a lot for work and pleasure. This have a great vibe excellent staff. A big plus is their restaurant who had Henry who had an excellent service he brought a lot of value to the service in the hotel and the restaurant. I would say that only details for me was the WiFi, that connection was weak and for a minute when I what to check their tv it was not connection. More pressure on the head shower would be a great. I still give a 5 start because that staff tried to provided help with great attention. "

"Our room was very high up (about 20 feet). There was no railing & a hole in the deck. We went for dinner to their restaurant & waited a long time to be served ( we were the only ones there). We changed rooms to a better room. We had a kitchen like area with a large counter, but no rag to wipe it. The cups supplied were paper cups, same ones for a 2 night stay. The beach area was very nice. I do think this place is over priced"
