"Buena vista is about 30 minutes from bacalar town so not an ideal location. The house is remote and in the jungle , very rough terrain getting in there Read all the small print , the house is only enclosed from the elements in the 2 bedrooms , the rest ( which is essentially just a tiny outdoor kitchen , no living room at all ) is totally open to the elements and the MOSQUITOES!!! We arrived to check in and were eaten alive in 5 minutes. There were also many wasps , a few in the bedroom. We left...

"My friends and I enjoyed the hotel. I paid for a room for two people but another friend from Cancun joined us. When we arrived to the hotel they charged me extra 80 dls for the extra person with the same room. I asked for a bigger room but they didn’t do it. So we had to share the bathroom and two beds. I wish they had given us a bigger bed. "
