Upon arrival, after speaking to the front desk attendants, we realized our four paid rooms had been occupied by others. After reconfirming several times our booking, they realized their error but it took them a while to tell us they would give us other rooms which seemed difficult for them to offer us from the beginning. The rooms were good with the views to the beach, however, no hot water in the showers. On one of our two nights stay we had no air condition since midnight. One of the rooms’ toliet was non functional. I must say, however, the hotel is located in front of the beach and has a parking area.

Staff ever friendly and helpful, able to find staff fluent in English to help..from check in to out, just delightful. We thought shade covers on both sides of the pool would be an improvement though….

Mi experiencia en Mía Bacalar fue espectacular. Bellísima hotel y altamente recomendado. El personal es muy amable y se encargaron de hacernos sentir especiales.

Get a ocean view unit

Caesar is a great host. Warm & friendly. The property sits right on the lake. It’s a beautiful property, accommodations are basic. The road is very Rocky but only for a block or two.
