"The property is located in a small neighborhood right by the water. While there are houses fairly close it is quiet with beautiful views. The house is clean and has good appliances/wifi for a comfortable stay. It is a one bedroom with a big bathroom and living room. The screened in patio is good to avoid the mosquitos. One note is for those with mobility issues, the shower/bathtub has a high ledge with a thicker width to get in/out."

"The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!"

"This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!"

"I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again."

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the living room and main bedroom we used were comfortable, and the sun porch had great views where you could relax in the AC. "This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. "This "little" cottage had enough space for comfort and was in a very quiet neighborhood. The home was clean, well stocked and inviting. This was the perfect place for a ladies getaway retreat. Great time for kids crabbing & a great place to fish -- one slot red, a few puppy drums, croakers, and even a couple of cownose rays that gave maybe the best fight I've had fishing! "We REALLY enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and the amenities were great. We had 4 teenagers and 6 adults and everyone had the space they needed to relax and have fun. The pool provided a nice place to cool off and the views of both the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. There were plenty of options for people to get out on the water on the creek side and the access on the river was just as nice."

"The location was great, and the Inn’s pool was very clean. However, our a/c unit ended up not working efficiently so we had to move rooms. The room we ended up in was right next to the stairwell and the guests would smoke right outside the entrance, so the cigarette smoke ended up wafting into our room. There were also a ton of random appliances just sitting out under the stairwell. But overall it was a decent stay for the price."
