"Without any notice, he asked for a large deposit in cash despite no advance warning in the listing . At checkout, he asked for additional money to clean the sheets! Never has this happened before. If there is a cleaning fee, it should be in the listing. The place itself is exactly as advertised but we had issues with the remote to get in and out of the property & garage/. Nice place, difficult owner"

"Appartement conforme aux photos. Très propre et fonctionnel. Propriétaire disponible et agréable. Piscine communautaire immense. Il est juste dommage qu'elle ne soit pas ouverte le matin, les enfants étaient frustrés. De plus pas de possibilité de jouer avec une grosse bouée ou un matelas pneumatique, les maîtres nageurs sont intraitables malgré le peu de monde présent dans l'eau. "We were in the Zahara apartment in June 2023. It is true to the pictures and descriptions. Very clean and lots of room for the 3 of us. The beach is wonderful and only a 3-4 minutes walk. We can see it from the top balcony. When we were there, the wind was pretty strong but we still enjoyed the beach. The cleaning staff was very helpful, specifically Virginia who welcomed us on our first day. "The property was unique and in a great location. We walked to Gibraltar twice and also enjoyed the excellent cafes in La Linea so we got the best of both worlds! Our house boat was the smallest so it was very compact, but it was comfortable for the 2 of us. Storage was thoughtfully appointed, plus the rooftop seating area was comfortable with an awesome view! We arrived by bus with the stop a short walk away, but I know parking was offered if needed. The host was very responsive and answered any questions promptly. The sweet cat who lives in the area and visited us was an added bonus! "
