“Amazing property for family groups! We had 3 generations under one roof with activities for everyone. Tons of space and lots to do from fishing and paddling, to movies and games on the rainy days.”

“Exactly what i was hoping for. Very quiet and private. My boys and I spent lots of time kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing. Ended our days with bonfires and smores. We will definitely be back.”

“Top 3 things. VIEW!, shower presuure and king bed!! You can tell the owners are improving things on the inside. Flooring, ceiling, kitchen,bathroom are all remodeled. Basic needs are there as deacribed. VIEW is amazing! Outside does not look like it has been updated yet but as soon as you see the view you wont notice. Clear lake saw lots of fish jump, some geese, birds and chipmunks. quiet and friendly neighbors.Train is close by and it was harvest season so went by regularly. Good bar burgers...

“Legacy lakeside resort was fantastic! There's trails to walk, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, nice beach, clean, very comfy beds, quiet and relaxing. There's also a cool game room, grills, fish cleaning station. We will definitely be coming back! It's our new favorite place to go! Staff were very helpful and kind too!! ”

“Hands down, the best travel experience I have had to date! I used to spend summers at this lake at a resort, in a cabin. I was sad when that was sold off as private lots. I stumbled upon this and took a chance and it blew me away! The ease of working with the hosts and the cleanliness were both top notch, but the service…. Exceptional. We had two 12 year old boys and this is a trip they will never forget. The fishing was amazing and when I say we caught at least 100 fish, I’m being conservative....

“We had a group of 8 for a weekend retreat and the house was great. Pleanty of rooms with 3 full bathrooms to make it comfortable for all. A quick drive to town and so very close to the winery and brewery. Everything we needed was in the house and it made for a very relaxing weekend. The host was also wonderful, great communication before and during the trip. Thank you for sharing your rental. ”

“The cabin was very comfortable for three couples. Some amenities that contributed to the comfort and fun were ceiling fans throughout, a well equipped kitchen, lots of outside space and seating, 3 kayaks, a paddle board and a canoe. The property was beautiful with lots of trees and bird watching. ”

“Anne was amazing to work with - so flexible and responsive. The cabin was just like the pictures and description only better. Very clean and comfortable. Loved all the little venues and used them all including the screened in porch, the deck, the great Adirondack chairs on the sand, the fire pit and the lake. What a great relaxing getaway. Just what we needed. Had what we needed to prepare meals as well as enjoyed a couple of restaurants in town. Glendalough State Park was great as well. ...

“The house was perfect for our family - 11 people (toddlers - adults). Check-in was easy, and Jeremy responded quickly to all questions. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to make our meals (nice pots/pans and utensils). The double oven was a bonus. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds. We enjoyed the large screen in the basement and comfy seating. We had a minor problem with the air conditioning not cooling the upstairs, but Jeremy had someone out right away...

“Awesome sandy- kid friendly shallow beach. 2 year old grandson absolutely loved the sandbox at the beach! Nice and spacious kitchen- living room area! One thing- would be nice to have more than one bathroom but we made it work! The whole family truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere backyard and lake! We are already talking about going back next summer!”

“House had everything we could need for our family of 6. Lots of dishes, nice appliances, and enough sleeping room for all. We loved fishing off the dock, using the kayaks, enjoyed water sports on the lake, and nice that the location was close to a gas station, restaurants (Leaf Valley Mercantile and Old Mill were both great!), and a boat ramp. Definitely want to try out Carlos Creek Winery and 22 Northmen next time!”
