"What a wonderful place to stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need (plus lots of extras). It is a place that the owners have taken great pride in. They were very responsive to an early check-in. What a peaceful place!"

"It is remote in a great way. The trees are tall, it’s quiet and peaceful. The access to lake is close. Everything worked in the house. It’s a charming and unique building. Works great for a group. Beds were great. Showers and bathrooms were excellent. The owner communicated and easy to get a hold of. It was a short drive into hotsprings and enjoyed the Quapaw bath house. We would use the house again."

"The cabin is just as described! Surprisingly, the shower was larger than imagined from the photo. The location was perfect for us as we were interested in activities just a few miles away. Overall, it was a great experience. I would recommend the hosts and this cabin to anyone wanting a get getaway in an area with multiple things to do! A couple of things to mention. "The house was clean, well thought out. The carport/patio was great for grilling and game nights. The screened in porch was nice to sit and relax. The outdoor fire pit was nice and the fire table was awesome also. The deck over the small creek was nice to sit and relax while the kids can play. We had one small problem when we first got there and the owners were on it quick and resolved it before we could even unload. Extremely nice people. Only "BIG" problem we had was we didn't want to leave....

"House is located a half mile or so off the highway. It's at the end of a road so there will be no traffic. Very quiet and secluded location. Would be a good place for a telescope. Probably 1-2 miles from the Highway 27 Fishing Village. About the same distance to the nearest Womble Trail Head. Note that you will have a long, hard climb in the first hundred yards if you go west from this trailhead. Plenty of room for 4 of us. Might be a bit cramped if you had six adults. "We were here with friends to see the eclipse. Beautiful natural setting to see this beautiful natural occurrence. The balcony view overlooking the Ouachita River is as good or better than the pictures. Lovely and spacious interior. Room to park two vehicles in the garage. The pool table downstairs is a bit worn and in a tight space, but still usable. This was a great place to stay away from it all out in the hills of western Arkansas."

"Great spot for enjoying the lake and crystal digging. Off the main road, so very peaceful. We rented all the cabins from the host and were able to house 30 family members comfortably. A couple of things to be aware of - there are only 2 full baths and they accessible only through bedrooms. There is another small toilet in a open bedroom, but doesn't have a door - only a curtain, which reduces its usefulness considerably. House could use some maintenance, including some pest control and door...

"Yearly family vacation was spent here. Can we say incredible!! Everything was just perfect, plenty of room for everyone. We fished, swam, played cards, and generally just hung out. Cancelled the plans for mining cause no one wanted to leave for the day. The amenities were over the top. The kitchen is a dream kitchen for sure! Mrs Bethany was most helpful for any questions we had. Hands down best family vacation ever. Thank you Douglas and Jacki! Already making plans for next year!!!"

"The cabin was nice, located down a 2 mile dirt road. There are a few camp sites located on the property behind the cabin and the path that lead to them run a small dirt road a few feet from the cabin driveway and we were not aware of that prior to check in. There is a small creek behind the cabin that is able deep and once you cross that you can follow the path to the camp sites behind the cabin that are situated on the river. "This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner had a sweet handwritten card for us with snacks waiting the on the table when we walked in the door. There was a travel guide book with info on various places around the area. It’s peaceful and quiet."
