3rd room
The stay was great till we found out the 3rd bedroom was downstairs. The video game, basketball game and washer and dryer are also downstairs. I feel that should be in details. Other than that big issue the stay was great.

Close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountains
The good: Entry level area is comfortable and has lots of windows for natural lighting. Living room includes lots of comfortable seating as well as a fireplace (we did not use) and a large screen TV (we did not use). Kitchen table seats 6 and kitchen has enough space to cook, eat, and store food. The two bedrooms on this level are large with king beds and adjoining bathrooms. There is a small playroom downstairs which the kids used a lot. The home is clean and decorated with a mountain theme. The hosts were quick to respond to requests. The neighborhood was quiet and is located right off the Parkway. Checkout was very easy. The not-so-good: To get into the house you will need to climb a steep flight of stairs. We were okay, but someone with trouble getting around would have a hard time. The twin beds are located downstairs on the ground floor next to the combination laundry/game room. The bedroom is tiny and poorly lit, as well as a little musty. (We were able to all sleep upstairs, so this was not an issue, but it may be a problem for someone counting on using the two twin beds.) Upstairs one bedroom had one bedside lamp and the other bedroom had none. There were no bath mats for the showers. Overall: Quiet, clean, comfortable and close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. We would definitely stay here again.

Once we reached the property other peoples stuff was still in the place called the property owners got a voice mail left one never received a call back. The property wasnt the same one in the pictures also. Very disappointing to drive 10 hours to be put out on a place we paid for months . ago

We had 4 adults and a dog for three nights in this home. The rooms were nicely appointed, the neighborhood was lovely, and the location was close enough to everything we wanted to do/see in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We were really busy during our stay so we didn't really take advantage of the fun game room downstairs or the board games provided, but we liked that there was an option! There were also TVs in each bedroom and in the living room, which was nice. Would definitely stay again and/or recommend to others!

The home was comfortable and met all our needs for a three week stay. The owners were workable and responsive to any questions or requests we had. What really stands out is the well manicured, park-like subdivision the house is located in. Peaceful and quiet, but not isolated. Beautiful walking trail around the back of the subdivision, along the river. Nice for AM and PM walk. Easy access to Parkway.

All the years of staying in Pigeon Forge. This place is the perfect location and Im so happy we found this location. This home is very well taken care of and clean, I would definitely live to stay here again!! Can the shower heads be updated? (Lol they were fine) PROS: Location Location Location Very Quiet neighborhood. Very Clean Current up to date Looks like owners are updating more. CONS: If I had to list: Wish AC vent was in 3rd bedroom downstairs Maybe a fan installed as well. (Might be just a duct ran to a vent) This really wasn't a issue we had a portable fan This con is definitely not a deal breaker or a flaw. Overall I would definitely go back several times a year. Would love to be there during the cooler months to experience this location.

Plumber Needed
The house and location and communication with the host was excellent. The second day we were there we had some dishes that we needed to wash. We started washing dishes in the sink and the dishwasher started flooding the floor. We tried to turn the disposal on to see if that would help and it didn’t work. We contacted the host on that day and he tried for the entire week to find a plumber to fix the problem, but pigeon forge doesn’t have any plumbers that could come out all week. We had to wash dishes in the tub and that became annoying quickly. We ended up going to buy disposable plates and cups and plastic ware to eat and drink with after two days of tub washing. Besides not having the problem resolved for the entire trip, the stay and everything else was great.

Pigeon Forge Stay
This property was at best a bare bones unit. The location was excellent, only minutes away from restaurants and entertainment. Communication from the owners was clear, helpful and timely. However the online pictures, descriptions as well as reviews were misleading. The front porch furniture was old and dirty, with spider webs scattered about. The furniture and decorations, though appropriate, were not comfortable and didn't feel complete, especially the lighting. There was no accent lighting to use, only overhead ceiling lights. The dining table was wobbly, the skillet pans weren't cleaned properly, and the garbage disposal didn't work; causing hassle to have a dining event at home. The bath towels provided were similar to large microfiber cloths found at car washes that would be used to dry off your car. This property at its current form is best for folks looking for a small home-base as they explore the surrounding area, but not for anything more.

This was a perfect home for our group. The grandkids enjoyed the basement. It could use a bathroom there. The 2 large bedrooms upstairs were roomy. Beds were a little firmer than I like but we still slept okay. The 2 bathrooms were great but kids took them over a lot. LOL the neighborhood is quiet mostly but people definitely did not follow the 9 pm quiet hours. (HOA issue) Also the no parking on the street happened often, some was contractors, others were renters. (HOA issue) The driveway is wide enough for 3 cars but not more. It fit our expedition, the minivan and a car. The motorcycle was parked on a little piece of concrete by the steps so that worked out. There are hardly any pot and pans to cook with unfortunately and we didn’t trust the grills nearby. They were a little nasty. (Not the owners fault) The creek is close but unfortunately the geese have pooped (again not the owners fault) everywhere so we actually took the kids to little river outside of Gatlinburg instead. The house was clean and we had no problems. The air mattress didn’t hold air though so one of my grandkids slept on pillows in the floor (by his choice). Plenty of pillows and blankets available. Loved to large washer and dryer. We didn’t use the dishwasher. Both the coffee pots were used and worked perfectly. Several dogs around. We saw no issues with them picking up after them or being on a leash. Overall I’d say a great experience, a 10/10!

We stayed 4 nights-Monday evening to Friday morning. We had an excellent time and enjoyed our stay in the home. The creek is a few houses down. Lots of birds, squirrels and trees running around outside. The home is very well kept and offered more than enough room for family of 8. The owners were very responsive to my messages. We would love to return in the future :)

Disappointing Stay with Limited Views and Unpleasant Odors
I recently stayed at a rental property with my family for the Memorial Day weekend, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. My wife had mistakenly identified it was a cabin, it turned it wasn't. The house was located in a valley, offering no mountain views whatsoever, which was disappointing. One of the main issues we encountered was with the downstairs area, which was listed as a bedroom with two single beds. However, we found it concerning that the only exit available in case of an emergency was through the stairs leading upstairs. This lack of a secondary exit raised some safety concerns for us. Furthermore, the downstairs area had an overpowering smell that made it unpleasant to spend time there. The odor was so bad that my adult daughter opted to sleep on the couch instead. Also. of note there was a collection of spider webs and daddy long legs above the door leading downstairs. In terms of the overall condition of the property, we also encountered some safety hazards. The back steps were weathered and had nails sticking up, posing a potential risk for anyone using them. While this issue did not cause any accidents, it was certainly a concern and reflected a lack of maintenance. Despite these drawbacks, our Memorial Day weekend was not ruined. However, considering the lack of views, unpleasant smells, cleanliness issues, and safety hazards, I would not choose to book this property again in the future.

Good Location Home Needs Updates
Bottom line, I would not chose this property again. Especially for a group of six. If you need a no frills place to stay, this would work. There are some pros to this home, but more cons. Pros: This home is in a nice, quiet neighborhood located just off the main road. The inside of the home was clean. There was a game room downstairs with foosball and basketball. My pre teen kids loved that. Cons: This home needs a lot of TLC and upgrades. The two twin beds are located in the basement. There is no air vent in this room and the beds were very uncomfortable. The futon is located on a screened in porch and is in poor condition. The furniture in the home is mismatched, scratched up, and uncomfortable. The inside of the home was clean. However the porch was full of cobwebs and very dirty. The kitchen table was very wobbly. We kept wondering if it would collapse.

This property is located in a nice neighborhood. From the pictures, I expected more of a cabin which is not the case. Be prepared as there is a flight of stairs which made it difficult for my 84-year-old mother.

Overall the property was good for us, did not care for the back porch or basement area
We needed light bulbs and requested a mat for the front door, host was very quick to reply and take care of it. Could not figure out the fireplace. The beds slept good and the location was great. Overall the property was clean, there were several broken blinds and I did notice the doors near the door knobs need cleaning, but again overall it worked perfect for us.

Christmas in the mountains
The perfect place for a Friendsgiving holiday mountain get away. The owners were extremely accommodating and quickly responded to our questions and requests. Check in and check out process was flawless. The open space concept connecting the kitchen, dining space, and living room allowed us all to talk and be together whether you were cooking, eating, or relaxing on the recliner. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from the best diner, grocery store, and Dollywood, and public transit system. A big thank you to the owners for the discount Dixie Stampede card. The show was amazing and the perfect ending to our mid-week run away.

Nice house, a little misleading, the two single beds are down stairs with just 1 air vent in the adjoing game/laundry room, so it never really cooled down. The room with the futon was a vlosed in back deck area with no air, overall a nice place just those 2 bads.

Nice house,just needs a little upgrading, needs air conditioner downstairs in twin bed room, and on the back porch ,not usable for sleeping on futon, too hot, takes your breathe, going onto porch, need to add some baking pans in the kitchen. We would stay there again if it came up for rent. Also need to check Commodes and lights ever six months or so. Commode in front bathroom, came apart and shot water into bathroom e for the 5 hours we were gone on Tuesday. We cleaned up the water in floor Upstairs,. But it ran into the game Room of the basement. The rug soaked up most of the water, but it needs to be cleaned with a shop vac. When we left we wiped the upstairs Surfaces with disinfectant wipes, Swept and left the clean towels on bed. Enjoyed the trip mostly. Hope we proved to be good guests Thanks for your hospitality.

We enjoyed this house. It was extremely clean, which is always a huge plus. We were a bit confused about the sleeping situation. The two twin beds are in the basement, which is not really finished. There is a futon on a sleeping porch that is really hot, and not really a place you want to sleep. Upon booking, I was under the impression that the twin beds would be in a nice room and there would be a pullout couch in a living room area. There was a really nice air mattress in the closet, which saved us. It was okay, just not exactly what we thought we were walking into. There are some games in the basement, which were fun. We would definitely stay here again, but maybe not with the whole family since the sleeping arrangements weren’t as nice as we thought they would be.

The stay was enjoyable, overall. Yard was a lot smaller then I expected. The house is nice, but needs some tlc, not the actual house, but things like the sheets, the futon bed is definitely suitable as a spare in a college dorm. On the other hand, the foosball table in the basement was awesome and we had a lot of fun playing with our teenage granddaughters, they were surprised how well we played. The basement got hot and had no air in the br section, we had to go buy a fan. The bed was broke, but they got somebody over to fix it very quickly. I was concerned that there is no exit from the basement, except by going upstairs, so a upstairs fire would require someone to exit upstairs, or maybe thru the laundry room window. There are doors going outside, but all were locked off. We loved sitting on the rockers on the front porch, it was really relaxing. Most of my complaints could easily be fixed in a day, it's a nice house, in a very nice and convenient area. But it's not really suitable for more then 6 guests.

What a great rental! If you have children, dogs or both consider this home for your next vacation rental home. This home is situated in a quiet plan but still close to all of the great activities in Pigeon Forge. The details and pictures you see above are exactly what you get. The plan does have a walking path along the river which our dogs loved. It was a very peaceful walk after a long day of running around seeing all of the sights. We will definitely be back again! The property we stayed at was very nice. The friends that were with me, it was their first time and they enjoyed it all. If I had to suggest anything it would be to have a better heating source for down stairs as it was way to cold to sleep, so they actually brought mattresses upstairs in front of the fireplace. But overall everything was great. The owners was also very awesome as they allowed us to check in on a different day and allowed us an extra day because of inclement weather conditions
