“Wonderful stay at a truly great hotel. Historic building is gorgeous, the room was large but cozy and spotless, bed super comfy, the staff is super attentive and kind, breakfast delicious. Tezontle, the rooftop restaurant that is part of the hotel is amazing. Highly recommend Casa de la Luz when staying in the Centro. I’ll be back! ”

“This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls.
The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally.”

“Everyone at Casa Donceles was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was also very clean and larger than we expected. Not to mention it is a very short walk to some of the best historic sites in the city. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to CDMX. ”
