Log Cabin with loft

This is the real McCoy! Hand hewed logs built from two, 100 year old tobacco barns and other recycled materials, this cabin looks rustic while covering the bases. Ample 500 sq. feet open floor plan provides sleeping loft with queen bed, kitchenette featuring a red cedar counter top, oak dinette, coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Sitting area has ample seating in front of a rock fireplace. A sleeping corner holds a queen bed topped with antique hand made quilt. Bathroom houses quaint "sheep waterer" shower. Furnished with vintage bits and bobs the decor is a feast for the imagination. Outdoor fire pit area includes chairs and a gas cooking grill. Very private without being isolated our cabin nests on seven acres along side our home and flower farm, located within minutes of Jordan Lake State Recreational Area, downtown Pittsboro as well as Apex and Carrboro/ Chapel Hill.-Go Heels!

I loved this space! The cabin had tons of charm and was different in an interesting and fun way. The space was very clean and was a perfect landing spot between college tours. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blackberry Cabin. Trish greeted us upon arrival and explained to us some of the features of the cabin. It was obvious that a great deal of thought, love and hard work went into making the space comfortable and inviting. The location is very near to Historic Pittsboro, Chapel Hill and Jordon Lake. We were there to visit family members who live nearby and hope to return again in the future.

Unc hideaway

Nice and clean little cabin. We have stayed twice and it is so convenient to get to Chapel Hill to attend football games with our Son. We love Tricia she is very accommodating and make check in so easy!

Excellent night at this cozy, quiet , nostalgic cabin! It’s hard to believe that this peaceful cabin is only 15 minutes from Chapel Hill. The cleanliness was immaculate! It’s decorated so peacefully! I wish we had more time to enjoy! I will definitely try to book here in the future!

Quiet get away

Fantastic and quaint cabin located on a farm. Very spacious yet rustic feel that allows for A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Bonus was the availability to pick our own blueberries in the garden and to pick from her flower garden. It was very accommodating for my wife, daughter and dog. It is a good driving distance from the major cities in the triangle. Trish was a fantastic host and very accommodating. Have already started looking at booking in the fall.

Inviting & Interesting Cabin

With a short stay for business in the area, we felt the cabin was welcoming form the moment we entered. It is obvious that much time, care, and thought were put into the structure and decor. It was quite clean. Trish was thorough and kind upon check in. We used the grill for dinner and fell asleep to the music of crickets. The location is a short drive to lovely Lake Jordan with walks, fishing and a beautiful beach. A great BBQ place is just down the road and a great outfitter & shop. While the cabin is close to a busy highway, by nightfall it was quiet and peaceful. We will return again.

Rustic is an understatement

We stayed at this cabin for one night, just passing thru. If the walls could talk, they’d have a story to tell for sure! There is something to look at everywhere you look! Rustic and radiating come to mind! Trish was fantastic and made us feel incredibly welcome!

Cozy and Rustic

The cabin was perfect for my 5 year old daughter and I to spend a few days. There is a grill and kitchenette (no stove/oven) but that's fine for short stays or if you plan to eat out most days. Clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The hosts were amazing - friendly, helpful, easy to reach. Highly recommend this for your next getaway.
