"Excellent hotel and beautiful "

"This was our return visit whist explaining La Gomera and although the hotel is still undergoing some building work it didn’t effect our stay. The room was newly refurbished and a the balcony had great view over the Main Street. San Sebastián is an easy place to walk round from the hotel. Breakfast was included and the staff refreshed items quickly my one small complaint was the toaster which didn’t work giving out so little heat there was no danger of injury or burning bread. Definitely a hotel to consider. "

"We were looking forward to staying for 5 nights in the quiet valley of Hermigua but found the hotel to be very noisy with poor soundproofing between rooms. We had a room next to family with young children who screamed the place down so much we asked to move rooms but the noise carried throughout the building as well as other guests meeting in bedrooms chatting till late so not a restful stay. One of the few hotels I was glad to leave and sorry we’d booked. It’s sad as the place looks ok from the outside. "

"Great place to stay, very helpful staff, and nice comfortable Villa. However the location is remote here, and there are few amenities, it states it is in San Sébastien but it is at least an hours walk from the town. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, its a stunning location but you do need a car definitely. Also if you are relying on cabs be warned that it can be difficult to get cabs late at night from san Sebastian town (we were told they stop around 11). Alo be sure to make contact in advance regarding check, we just showed up on the day without advanced contact and found it difficult to check in. "

"This is a beautiful, rustic hotel in a wonderful town in the mountains. It’s simple, but comfortable. The terrace is wonderful and I loved the many plants decorating each corner of the hotel. Make sure to have a working phone and ask for the owner’s phone number beforehand, in case you don’t find any instructions when you arrive. Everything worked perfectly for us, but several guests were locked out and we had to let them in and help them connect to the owner upon their arrival. Ask for a room on the ground floor if you have physical restrictions or difficulties climbing stairs."

"From the moment we arrived we knew the villa was just as described and fulfilled all our expectations. Spotless throughout with beautiful fittings and furnishings. Most household things were provided and Elisabeth our host was most attentive and helpful. The views from the garden and pool were stunning. We recommend this villa and hope to return for another relaxing week."
