Perfect, near 5th avenue and beachfront
This place was perfect for my family because it was beachfront with pool and walking distance to 5th avenue as well as other stores. We loved that Walmart was so close to us and the apartment had washer and dryer! That was a must for us because of our kids. The staff was very helpful and friendly! The apartment was air conditioned and spacious, it fit our needs!

El Faro Reef 303 Playa del Carmen
Location was great and close to everything we wanted within walking distance (ferry, restaurant, shopping, groceries). Unit was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for basic cooking. Could use some new pillows as the current ones are a bit past their prime. Pool was wonderful. Lots of space and looked out onto the ocean. Beach in this part of playa looks like it has been eroded quite a bit, so not much usable beach right in front of El Faro, but just a little ways down the beach it gets much wider and the entry to the ocean has fewer rocks so that was ok. Was a wonderful stay and would stay here again.

Great Location
We had a wonderful stay at Reef 303. The condo was well equipped and very clean. Vivian came pretty much every other day to clean and bring fresh towels. The location couldn’t be better, right on the beach and close to many great restaurants. Our only complaint was that the patio door wouldn’t lock but being on the 3rd floor we weren’t too concerned about safety.

Great location
Our stay at this property was great. We had Karina come twice to tidy up and it was greatly appreciated. Location is perfect, steps to the beach, next to great restaurant with good food and drinks, close to all the shopping. Security personal told us to carry anything of value with us to be aaf

Electricity and warer service cut last day of staying
On the last day of our staying the water and electricity was cut. We had to leave the condo without taking a bath because the electricity was cut at that area and we were not advised of the memo

Family Trip
The condo community is very clean. The individual condo is excellent. It can sleep 5 comfortably. Good amenities. Has elevator. The AC works well in every room. The staff are attentive and helpful. Condo has everything for a long stay. Unfortunately the safe didn’t have instructions on how to set the lock. We kept our cash and passports under some shirts next to the washer/dryer. The at some point during the stay, we discovered $200 missing. Not all the cash was taken nor the passports. Enough was missing for us to tell. We reported the incident to the management and concierge. They were attentive but we knew we would not recover our money. This experience didn’t discourage us. We finished al the items in our agenda and had fun. Caution, use the safe provided.

Reef303
We love El Faro condos. Close to everything! Reef 303 has a great view of pool and ocean- We enjoyed our stay. Furniture is pleasant and updated kitchen is great! We only used master bedroom which was nice with plenty of closet space and a spacious bathroom. Mattress was quite hard and bed linens could be freshened & updated/ but definitely not a deal breaker on this unit. Other sleeping areas looked nice. Enjoyed our vacation.

Perfect location
What a nice place to stay! The condo was clean and well equipped. A huge balcony with a pool/beach view. Each bathroom was updated and spacious. The grounds are immaculately kept and the staff and front desk are all very helpful. The location is also really convenient. Walk right from the pool to beach (which is maintained daily to clear the sargasm). Quick walk to taxis and touristy Quintana Ave. Walk just a couple more streets for more resonable eats. (So many good tacos). We enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to come back.

Great location
Plus: Great location, beautiful pool, helpful staff, washer & dryer in the condo, large balcony with beautiful view. Minus: Lots of sand on the floor when we arrived, inconvenient cleaning schedule, not enough towels, small refrigerator

The property was very nice. The beach is being eroded away rapidly. Previous pictures show 300-400 feet of open beach - it is now 50 -100 feet. My unit was very nice as advertised but the patio sliding doors on the bedroom and living area would not lock due to a broken lock mechanism. This is a security concern. It was reported but noting was done.

Location, location, location!
The location was fantastic. Steps from the beach and 5th Avenue. While you can hear the noise from local clubs outside, inside the condo is very quiet. The pool was well maintained and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when we return.
