The location, close to Malestroit and Ploermel was excellent for shopping and visiting the markets and many larger towns were less than 30 minutes away. "We spent a leisurely 12 days in this comfortable home. Patricia and her family made us feel immediately welcome. The bedrooms have views of the chateau. Inside, the house is very quiet; stepping out front we were always greeted by melodic bird songs. It is a two minute walk to the Brest-Nantes canal with lovely walking paths on both sides, and a 5-10 minute walk to the center restaurants and boulangeries. We could not have been happier with our stay."

"We were late arriving but Andy was on site to meet us and we checked in immediately and even managed an evening dip in the pool after a hot few hours travelling. The pool was brilliant. Shallow enough at one end for the youngest child (3yr old) but deep at the other to challenge the older kids. "Very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, with a nice bottle of local cider and some biscuits to help us recover from the long journey. They also coped with my basic French! Information on the property and the surrounding area was clear and useful. Very close to Pontivy where there are hypermarkets, shops etc. Also next to the amazing cycle path on the river - great for walks and easy cycling. Excellent accueil de part du propriétaire de la "Maison de ville" et à l'écoute pour rendre le séjour encore plus agréable. "The farm house is in a very rural location, we were looking for a quiet situation for our whole family to come together and this was exactly what we hoped for. There really is nothing around you except fields and definitely no neighbouring properties. There was plenty of games for the children and adults to share and even though our first week was very wet everyone had a fantastic time. The rooms were very large so everyone had lots of space, the bedrooms were huge and each had lots of beds...
