"When I originally booked my stay, comments from previous guests described the decor as old and outdated. I found the opposite. The building is old (German poet Schiller once stayed there), but the room was modern throughout with walk in shower and staff very professional and polite. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel is right on the market square in the heart of the city within easy walking distance of everything. A farmer’s market is in the market square in front of the hotel several times a week as well as a stand with Thuringian bratwurst. A tourist info center by the market square next to city hall (Rathaus) was very helpful. I highly recommend the Adler Hotel in Rudolstadt."

Die Umgebung ist perfekt. Für jeden was dabei, ob schwimmen, wandern, radfahren, shoppen oder einfach nur die Natur und die Sehenswürdigkeiten genießen. Vielen Dank für alles!! Kommunikation top! "Rooms need either air conditioning or better ceiling fans. When it gets hot, there is no way to get proper airflow. If you open the windows, the insects will come inside your room. Please also add a microwave to the rooms. Shower was clogged with hair and the water could not evacuate. I had to unclog the shower otherwise the water level would have risen and gone into the bedroom area."
