"Lovely and good value family run pub and guesthouse.
Clean and homely room with everything you need. Lots of food options for dinner and a well stocked bar.
The pub was busy but closed and early enough not to disturb me sleeping.
Staff friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was great and a reasonable £10 for a full English.
I'd happily stay here again. "

"Beautifully decorated spacious room with Estuary view. Little touches much appreciate (complimentary gin & birthday card & truffles). Highly recommend hotel and restaurant. "
"Hotel was lovely. Very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Family room was spacious and comfortable. Location was perfect. Was able to park the car and walk everywhere.
Being able to use the pool was great but I would suggest they had a swimming lane. We went after 8am due to having children but we all wanted to swim lengths. By 8.10 the pool was full of families with children with no respect for swimmers which was disappointing. Overall a lovely night away and I would definitely stay there again. "
"Room was clean, staff were all very friendly and helpful, we couldn’t find the underground carpark, but sainsburys was close and no problem there. Really nice touch having a fridge in the room. The only thing missing for me was ice. It was available in the bar which was open til half 9, but we got back late after a show at pavilions, and I have a huge addition to ice cubes! I got through it so it’s okay, it’s just a personal thing, there’s always tea and coffee, but I’m yet to find a hotel to accommodate the need for ice late at night!
Although we didn’t eat, the food smelled great as we passed by and having looked through the menu, very reasonably priced too.
Thank you all for a very comfortable stay xx"
"On entering the hotel from the limited car park through the scaffolding and into the rear of the hotel we thought it was going to be a let down but the room was large clean and very relaxing although dated. Breakfast was very nice well cooked and of a good quality. The reception staff were very nice and welcoming so we left feeling happy and relaxed 😊 "
