Pocantico Hills Vacations from $358

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I booked an extended stay at Stamford Suites through Orbitz and arrived to find accommodations that were filthy, deteriorating, and nothing like the advertised photos. The suite had visible mold-like growth in the bathroom, rusted fixtures, damaged cabinetry, poorly maintained surfaces, and a leaking window that left standing water on the floor. These were not minor cosmetic issues but serious sanitation and potential health hazards. After just one night, I developed numerous bites across my back, which I suspect were from bedbugs. I had to purchase medication and supplies to treat the irritation. I immediately contacted Orbitz and the property, documented the conditions with photographs, and requested assistance. Instead of meaningful intervention, I encountered delays, poor communication, and little accountability. I was forced to stay one night because I had nowhere else to go. Although Orbitz eventually issued a partial refund, I was still charged an inflated first-night rate, and my Orbitz rewards were not restored. Worst of all, I was in town following a tragic death in my family, helping prepare for a funeral. Instead of having a safe place to rest, I spent precious time dealing with unsanitary conditions, health concerns, customer service disputes, and finding alternative accommodations. I have photographic evidence of everything. The lack of cleanliness, compassion, and accountability was insane

Check-in was confusing and poorly organized, which made the start of the stay frustrating. The room itself was fine and comfortable, but the photos on the website were misleading and didn’t match what we saw in person. Overall, an okay room but not the experience we expected.

The hotel advertises breakfast to order for a fee however there is no such service and this was the main reason i booked this particular hotel, been in a business trip this was a most so that I didn’t have to worry about find it a place before heading out.

It wasn’t worth 400$ a night plus 130$ dog fee. More like a 220$ a night room with a 50$ dog fee. The venue was nice but the room was just a holiday inn room. Older carpet , metal spring bed , no microwave , tiny fridge. The front desk was helpful but the staff working barely spoke English and weren’t very helpful. Ice machine was a floor down and when I asked they just pointed and said that way. Nice place to have a wedding but if you’re just in town for a night it is not worth the money. Paid over 500$ for one night for my bulldog to join me in a holiday in room sleeping on an uncomfortable bed. I’ve spent this same money on a hotel in Paris and the room had to balconies a separate room for the toilet , a bed like sleeping on a cloud. They need to update the beds the carpets and the windows so they open easily not almost broken like they are now. I looked forward to staying here for 6 months and I was disappointed all that money to stay in a motel 6 room

We checked in A water pipe broke No a/c No tv Hallway and hotel smelled terrible No answers when it will be fixed No manager on duty So far no compensation offered me and when I asked they said maybe they will give me 15000 miles for a 3 night stay which cost 60000 miles per night 180000 miles
