CLEAN!! Abundance of towels, great information box with maps, brochures, etc. VIEW!! No words was so nice to sit near the shore and look at driftwood and rocks and seals. The backyard looked like a fairy land with the various plants and trees. Bruce was very easy and quick to communicate when booking. Lovely peaceful place- Thank you!

Well appointed beachfront stay
Our family of 4 had a good time relaxing and getting away from it all! House was as advertised. Wifi was not listed as an option so beware of that. So no Mariners or Kraken, but, we did not miss anything as they suck!

Great location and beautiful beach
The house was a great location! Easy access to Lake Crescent and Olympic National Park. Port Angeles was an easy 15 minutes drive for the ferry to Victoria and full grocery (Safeway). We loved the beach access. We saw multiple seals swimming close offshore. It was a short walk to the Elwha River. It was flat between the house and beach, but there were driftwood logs to step over. So it might not be totally accessible for some with mobility issues. The owner was responsive to questions. Everything in the house was easy to find and use. There were plenty of chairs to sit outside. There were lots of extra blankets and pillows. There was plenty of space for our party of 5. There was not much of a spice cabinet beyond salt and pepper, so bring your own if you are planning to do much cooking. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Truly lovely!
A very clean, so cozy, comfortable family home, just steps away from a super fun beach filled with rocks and driftwood--perfect for a beachcombing treasure hunt! All directions were clear. Overall a great place to stay in a beautiful setting--the trees are especially beautiful. And the home is filled with fun and creative driftwood art!

I would come back - Cool Place
We booked this place to access Olympic NP and hike. While it was a bit away from the city of Port Angeles, it was on a pretty beach and had gorgeous sunsets. The house is not updated but has really pretty artwork by the owner and was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Our only issue and not a gamechanger since it worked out, was that we expected a text or email from the owner the day we were supposed to check in, as that is what the booking said would happen. When I didn't get anything, I called him and left a message. Never heard anything back. Odd. I went back and searched my email and then saw under messages in the VRBO app back in July that he has messaged the info. So it was just confusing since I didn't expect it come to me via the app and a month before but again, it all worked out. We enjoyed it!

Great House
Very quiet; the only noise was the ocean. The house was located on the beach, along a quiet dead-end street a few minutes from Port Angeles. From the large back yard, we could see Vancouver Island across the Salish Sea, not to mention more stars than I've seen in years and even the Milky Way, which I'm not sure I've ever seen. The house is within walking distance of the Elwah estuary, has a kitchen well-stocked with dishes, and is as clean and comfortable as you could want. All five of us were very happy with the selection and would very happily stay there again. Oh, you want a downside so you know the review is real? Fine. The wifi is not fast, not awful, but not fast. You can live with that. You're on vacation. Put your phone down and enjoy being on the coast. :P

Great location for Olympic National Park and Port Angeles ferry
We loved being away from it all but also close to Port Angeles. Know that it will take you 20 minutes to get to the ferry or to the National Park Visitor’s Center but in exchange you get the sound of crashing waves to lull you to sleep. You can see surfers and occasionally seals in the water out back. When we arrived, there was an unpleasant smell. Nothing seemed dirty but the smell was so bad that we went and bought air fresheners and kept the windows open whenever we were at the house. Fortunately there are wonderful ocean breezes and we weren’t too hot even in August with no a/c. Check in and out was easy. The microwave is in the laundry room (but it worked just fine) and the door to the dryer seemed to be held on by tape (it got our clothes dry).

First time to the Pacific Northwest
Olympic National Park is now my FAVORITE National Park! So many different things to do so close to this VRBO. When u tire from exploring, enjoy the birds in the beautifully landscaped yard, watch the ships/boats/barges in the bay or just enjoy the sunset.
