"Hotel Fontanelle is in a small town. There is a superb restaurant (pizzeria notte) and the surrounding area is quintessential Italy. Just check your bus schedule, and be patient with the late arrivals. "

Close for day trips to Florence and Poppi, which was an incredible alternative to the touristy towns. We also had the best meals at Mandri nearby - all locals - and got to meet Guido’s charming family. The home was a step back in time and a perfect escape for a quiet week in Italy. A. A"

Friendly staff and room cleaned to a very high standard every day. Surrounded by wonderful scenery, and only 20 minutes from Imola, the perfect peaceful location to explore the area. "The property is gorgeous, the staff was very attentive and all the requests were promptly addressed. The room was big and clean but they don’t have AC. During the day can get warm but overnight there were no issues. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Overall we highly recommend this property. "
