We enjoyed our week at GRB. As a family, there were 11 of us. Overall, it was a great experience. As a group, we feel the house needs some detailed management. I never received any information for check in, via an email or the VRBO app. Luckily an hour before arrival I heard from the management company welcoming us to GRB and if we needed anything to text or call. They were very helpful and went beyond what his company is probably responsible for.
It is advertised to sleep 12, as well as towels included. The pull-out sofa bed on the third floor is an air mattress zipped into the mattress cover. Once we figured this out, (as there are no detailed instructions in the house for anything) we searched for an air pump for the mattress everywhere and could not find one. We luckily had one with us. There are towels in the house for only eight people. There are no extra hand towels for the three bathrooms.
There are only two kitchen towels for the week.
The gas grill needs replacement flavor bars. One was gone and two more had disintegrated, we did a patch job with aluminum foil. The grill has seen better days. The grill is on a gas line from the house, yet there are two propane tanks next to the grill. Again, once we figured out how to turn on the mainline, we were good. There is a sump pump in the basement that needs to be manually emptied daily, or it overflows onto the floor. The sump pump hole is very small with a manual bobber. The washer and dryer are in the basement, that is how we discovered the problem. Parking for only four cars, which is generous at GRB. The front neighbor isn't a very friendly guy, to say the least. We killed him with kindness and his son Carson came over most nights to play with our grandchildren. The house is great for a large group or family. Overall, you won’t be disappointed.
