The carpet needed to be vacuumed in the room. The tub leaked constantly. Both the cold and hot handle on the sink made a squeaking noise. The office was closed around 10 o’clock and we could not get ice because the ice machine was in the office. If you arrive late, the office may be closed. We arrived just before she closed. Otherwise, you have to go next-door to another hotel to check in. There is no elevator and had to go up steps which seemed pretty dirty as well.

If your desire is to travel back in time to the 1800's and experience what they had for hotel comfort, this hotel is for you. The lady that checked me in was obviously irritated I arrived late and showed it... The hotel has a common toilet and shower located down the hall and not in the rooms. The bed was very uncomfortable which made sleeping difficult so I just left after a few hours and hit the road again. I didn't expect this ancient of a hotel to even be listed with Expedia...Fortunately, I only stayed one night.....

Clean room, good bed, and sound proof. We missed having a Kleenex box and a coffee maker in the room.
