Overall Disappointing
My partner and I booked this bed and breakfast in the hopes of having a lovely weekend away on a wine trail in Bucks County. We booked on a holiday weekend, which meant that our stay was VERY expensive, especially considering the prices of surrounding accommodations. We were under the impression we would be staying at a gem of a B+B, based on pictures and location. We were met with an ill-maintained, lackluster property that was littered with weeds and debris. The walkway up to the room hadn't been cleaned in months, and the loft itself was stuffy and just felt unclean (windows were dusty, lint on the floor, dusty wine glasses...) During breakfast the next morning, we were met with dirty seats by the window and a gigantic hole in the ceiling. My partner pointed out the dead bugs littering the floor by my feet. I immediately lost my appetite. We left breakfast. Our time in Bucks County was wonderful, but this property did not match the Bucks County expectation. It has the potential to be a beautiful historic property, if there was just a little pride in ownership.
