“interesante la experiencia de dormir en un domo familiar...en el interior podrían colocar algunas sillas y una mesa baja el aire acondicionado/calefacción funciona bien lástima que a nivel sonoro no se tenga aislamiento: hubo una fiesta el barrio hasta las 4am y francamente no pudimos dormir.. se oye también el ruido de la interbalnearia: podrían plantar unos árboles para que actúen como pantalla acústica el desayuno, fantástico, y la piscina, correcta ”

“Spent 4 days and 4 nights at Hotel del Lago with my wife for a vacation and to golf. The staff was great, extremely helpful and hospitable. The building is a bit run down, as mentioned in other reviews, so that was expected. Could definitely use a deep cleaning, but we were there in the Spring so may have had some lingering winter dust to knock off. The breakfast was good, standard Uruguayan resort breakfast from our experience, the dinner had some good dishes too, and with Punta del Lago 20……

“My husband and I wrapped up our vacation in La Barra, and Kala Hotel was absolutely perfect. It was within walking distance to the beach, offering the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was delicious, and we were well taken care of by the pool with refreshing wine and snacks. We also took their bikes to ride to José Ignacio, though in the heat, it wasn’t the most comfortable choice. Still, a memorable trip! Highly recommend!”

“Excellent hotel, very well situated for walking around the peninsula as well as close to both beaches (closer to La Mansa). But its on a quiet street so very quiet for sleeping. The staff is excellent, responsive and very helpful. The rooms are lovely. The safe in my room didn't work and finding the switch for the overhead lights was a slight challenge, but otherwise everything was perfect. I highly recommend the hotel restaurant! Breakfast was excellent, but dinner was also excellent! Fresh……
