We did not have much lucks at this resort, guest service is out of our thought. We were told our concierge would contact us and help us during our stay. He never came to introduce himself. We had to go down to the front desk 3 TIMES to ask if someone can help us to arrange dinners. All they said "yes ma'am, no worries, we will find our concierge", started pointing us around. We finally gave up and did not want to ask any more. Surprisingly on the 2nd evening of our stay, our concierge finally texted us with the resort general information and helped us to arrange the last 2 night dinners of our stay. That was all the service we received from him. We had to eat at buffet area every meal for the first 2 days. On the third day after a meal with hamburger and smoothies, my son said he was not feeling well so we went back to the room, right after that my son throwing up, feeling nausea, headache, low fever, then having diarrhea. We almost had to fly home early but because it costed too much we decided to consult medical advisors on phone from the States instead and she advised us we did not have to fly home early, just need to give him Gatorade/ginger ale with bread, tums, Advil for pain relieve. These symptoms last for 1 1/2 day, and luckily he got a lot better on the 5th day, which was the day that we flew home. I would not ever want to come back to DR. We did not have good experience over there.
