The sky walk had a small area between the sky walk and the parking garage. It was filthy and creepy. There was garbage in there, throw up, and it smelled like urine. Disgusting way to enter the sky walk leading to a classy hotel.

Very dirty and not well taken care of. On our floor there was a room with door off the hinges. Our room had a vomit stained couch and looked like the bathroom was not cleaned at all. Would not stay here again. Its only redeeming quality is its location. Very walkable to all downtown has to offer.

The rooms are really hot and there’s “nothing they can do about it”. Parking is sparse. Our room had a leaky faucet. Bathroom floor was dirty.

Their key-maker went down the morning we checked in, so staff had to let us in our room as we would come and go, but they did their best to get people in their rooms in a timely fashion! Great job to the staff overcoming that obstacle!

We were unable to sleep due to the noise that echos through the hotel from the first floor. The sound of people from the bar kept us up until they closed at midnight. The reason we came into town was for a volleyball tournament and we had to be up early. After the bar closed people continued to stay outside their rooms and continue drinking which was even louder once they were on the 5th floor.

No AC, arrived in room at 75 degrees. Turned the AC on, was 78 degrees that evening with unit running entire day. Zero communication from staff regarding dining accommodations or protocols for even trying to order a meal. Woke up to a live band at 7 am on a Sunday morning.

It was a convenient location to the Rivercenter. Unfortunately we were on floor 6 and it was over 70 degrees outside and because it was March they couldn't turn on the air. It was 86 degrees in our room and would not cool down even with a window open! It was so loud outside with the window open!

We were in town for a dance competition. The horel air was not working, by the time maintenance checked, our room was 85 degrees. After multiple complaints we switched rooms. We were able to get in a room with an open window to keep it cool enough (it is february in Iowa. We should not be sleeping with the window open.) Staff was doing what they could, but this is a property management issue that needs resolved!

This is a nice hotel, clean, well managed. A little trouble checking in as they were unable to make key cards. The young man at the desk needs a little coaching on how to speak to customers during a crisis. So I smiled and told him how sorry I was this was happening, and we were going to take a seat, put our luggage over here, and that I was sure it would be up and running in no time.

It was a well maintained property. Very clean. However, our room was extreeemly hot! The thermostat said 84 even after turned off. Since our room overlooked the lobby we couldn’t even open a window to cool it off. There were two other rooms in our party and they had the same problems with the heat. As soon as we could in the morning we checked out!

No casino
The reason why we booked this hotel was because it stated on their website that the Rhythm City casino was a 2 minute walk. Come to find out there is no casino. I believe it’s a 16 minute drive instead. Also the pool wasn’t open for use.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here in 30 days and this time was much worse than the first time! The shower conditioner bottle was to be affixed to the wall in the shower and it was lying on the shower floor, the shower was a stead drip and wouldn’t shut off and to add the shower wouldn’t turn on! We had to call maintenance to turn it on for us! The toilet paper holder was loose and barely hanging on to the cabinet! There were missing and loose outlet covers, which is a safety concern! The room was super hot and we couldn’t get the temp down any lower than 73 degrees!! We are exited to stay here for the pool but it wasn’t operational either! All in all these are all maintenance issues that the hotel and discounts should be given if these items persist it’s hard to justify the nightly rate!!

Sauna Room
We checked in and had to leave right away for an event so we didn’t even get to see the room until later. When we did get up to the room the thermostat was at 87 degrees and it was like a sauna. There was no way to turn on “air conditioning” we had to turn it off all together. It never cooled down. We asked for fans they didn’t have any. At midnight we had enough and tried to see if the Walmart ten miles away had a fan and they were closed. The desk didn’t help us at all! We were only given Hilton honors points and not refunded our room. I will never stay here again as we didn’t sleep a wink. Should have just drove home in the middle of the night!

There is an issue with the Expedia payment interface and we were charged twice by the property. This has caused significant waste of time and energy to get the extra charges reversed. The property insists I research and resolve how Expedia pays the property and they state they don’t handle this. The hotel charges $100 more per night to book directly, but buyer beware.

Got a great deal on the room. Nice hotel. Spacious. Unfortunately, the heat didn’t work in our room. Maintenance came and diagnosed it very quickly. Got us in a new room quickly, as well. My only gripe was the smell of oil or something in the air everywhere, which I presume came from the griddle in the kitchen directly below us.

This is a lovely hotel. I took a couple of kids to get us out during several days of snow/cold/trapped at home. The restaurant was out of a couple of items but we figured it out. Our only complaint was the temperature throughout the lobby, restaurant, and pool area--it was cold!

We made an online reservation for a specific room and bed type because it is what we wanted and needed. When we arrived we were told that room was unavailable despite the fact we had made a specific online reservation. We had to stay in a different room and unfortunately didn't give us the comfort we were planning for. We had a time crunch and couldn't check in earlier which is why we made the reservation in advance. This is frustrating and misleading to customers. What is the point of making a specific reservation if you don't get that reservation?

Stayed Saturday, 12/16/23. The hotel was nice, but there is definitely room for improvement. Check in was at 4:00 pm, we got there at 6:10 , and there was a line, and only one person working. We booked and paid for a king room in October, and we were told there were no more king rooms available. Elizabeth was great, she changed our room rate, we'll see if we actually get a credit for the difference, and gave us a complimentary breakfast. The room was nice and clean. The hotel overall was very warm, and only had one working elevator.

Our stay at the hotel started with a long line to check with with only one person working the desk. It was a busy night in the area as there was a special event happening. The long line when fairly quick as the employee working the desk took care of visitors needs the best she could. When we go to our room there was an immediate sense something was wrong as the door was unlocked and the window was wide open. The room has a very distinct odor of barf or something rotten. We looked around but didn't see anything. Had to leave quickly for an event. Upon returning to the room later that evening, and still smelling the awful smell, we looked around more intensely and came across a large amount of barf all along the bed skirt and lots pushed up against the wood trim under the bed. It was disgusting. We called the front desk and they immediately moved us to a different room. The gal at the front desk was horrified at what had happened and got room keys quickly for a new room. We were grateful for that. Wish the cleaning staff would have taken more care in cleaning this room, it was a terrible smell and situation that could have been avoided.

Only spent one night. The temperature in the room was 86 degrees Fahrenheit. It was unbearable. Could not sleep. Couldn’t lower the temperature. Also, the lobby tv was blaring. It was a horrible and very uncomfortable night.

Hotel is very nice. Lobby is beautiful and rooms very nice also. Located very close to Adler Theater which was nice. Downsides: short staffed during check in. One person. Stood behind 10 people. She did a good job but wish she’d had help. Our heat was off in our room and it was still so hot in there. We were able to open the window for 2 hours so that it wasn’t sooo hot to try to sleep. 2 elevators but one was broken. Breakfast variety was well intentioned but the cook had one day training and was struggling. Understandable. Other staff at the breakfast area kept apologizing but did little to nothing to help. Felt for the poor guy on his second day. He was trying very hard. My biggest disappointment was …no cookies! They are known for their cookies and there were never any made available. Asked about it at checkout and he just shrugged it off and said they don’t get around to making them. Then I would remove the signage they gave all over promoting their cookies. I realize many places are short staffed and I wore my patient and understanding the whole time. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Loved the location too. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance too.

Great location if you want to enjoy downtown Davenport. Our biggest issue with the hotel was temperature control in the rooms. Though we stayed in December, it was 50 degrees outside and we were only able to use the heat in the room or keep it off so our room was very hot and uncomfortable. We did find that the hotel was loud at night and could hear people in the rooms next to us and in the halls more than at other hotels.

I had pre paid for 2 king rooms. Check in took very long since they had one staff handling a long line. Once at check in they advised they had no king size rooms. Rooms were nice but temperature would not cool. Rooms were on the warm side and could not be changed.
