The Lake House is a true Log Home! Wi-fi internet access & lots of smart TV's (HULU & NETFLIX)
Security cameras of the front driveway and front entrance for safety, full view of lake from multiple rooms of the house.

NO BOAT DOCK - A Private beach cove accessible for boat access, shore landing of boats. (small pebbles & sand beach landing & private swimming and fishing. (Pics)

The kitchen is fully stocked with basic kitchenware, air fryer, microwave, crock pot, blender, dishes & cookware. The fridge does have an ice maker & ice trays. 4 burner electric flat stove top 2024. The is also a separate baking stove built in. 2 extra burners if needed.

Charcoal grill outside on covered porch (charcoal not provided)

•Living room has a full view of the lake, 75" Flat Screen TV/DVD Player, stocked with movies galore &. Couch and loveseat recliners.

•Family Room in basement has a TV, Small Futon, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Foosball and plastic dart board.

•Full Bath located on the main floor off the kitchen, equipped with a Jacuzzi Tub (No shower as of now in that one)

•Full length of house back porch, fabulous view of Greers Ferry, patio furniture and Charcoal grill (must bring charcoal), 8 chairs and dinning table. Rope light and bug zapper. Fire-pit down the path (Firewood not provided)

THE BASEMENT - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 2020 The basement is under construction and is not as nice as the upstairs. The basement has been renting since summer of 2016 and is all very usable. We have had no complaints on the unfinished project. (Even return renters every year) There a exposed ceiling joist, insulation still being finished out. The pics are up to date on the site (2024). Please do not email asking about basement, this is the description as of today 2024 The floor is smooth concrete. This area is Family Room/Game Room. This will be able to handle more fun time-rough housing than the upstairs! Hint Hint like lock the kids down there to go crazy while you enjoy the view on the upstairs porch. There will be french doors added later to over look the lake also from down stairs. There is no exterior doors at this time and one room has a small window. This basement is very USABLE and rents over 200 nights a year, there is no catch here, just FYI.

Great place to get away with all the comforts of home!

The lake house was absolutely wonderful! The property and lake were beautiful. It is quiet and away from everything. We were four adults and 7 teens (16-18yrs) that were there for a church youth retreat. The property met all our needs for quiet reflection as well as fun entertainment. The owner was wonderful with communication and was a fantastic host. Book now and enjoy a very relaxing getaway in a well equipped home.

Family vacation

Great location with amazing views of the lake! Major perk was the ease of the walk to the water for all especially my older parents. We love Greers Ferry Lake and come quite often. This was the perfect location and accommodated everyone!

Lakeside Get-a-way

This is a great location right on the water and very private. It hosted 19 of my family members, providing many entertainment options for the 11 kids. I highly recommend it for larger groups!

This was a great place to get away with my family. It was very well stocked with things we needed everyday. The owner was very accommodating and easily accessible by phone when we needed to contact him. Would definitely like to visit this property again!

Lake cabin

Basically a good property, with wonderful view and a back porch that was enjoyed by all. We knew going in that the basement was unfinished but still slightly disappointed (I know that's unfair). When the cabin is completed it will be stellar.

Family Christmas Vacation

My family likes to do a Christmas vacation every year. There are eleven of us, the youngest is fifteen. We love being together, playing games, watching movies, and eating! This cabin was great for our purposes. My son-in-law did a little fishing even though the weather was cold. The cabin has a fantastic view of the lake. It's easy to get to but very secluded and private. There was plenty of parking, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was clean and in perfect working condition. Vwe had a fantastic time.

Waterfront Lake Cabin

Our large extended family enjoyed our stay. The access to the water made our stay perfect for our family event. The kids enjoyed the game room in the basement. The house was fully stocked. The back porch was very nice that looked out over the water. Great rocking chairs on the back porch. Owner was very nice and very responsive. Our family is looking for to renting again next year.

The view was beautiful.

We actually spent our time going to activities around the area. The view is beautiful. The boats were a nice accommodation and I wish they were included in the price. We did leave the place exactly as instructed. I had expected a Keurig coffee maker. The upper-level ceiling fans were very dirty and dusty. I had to clean them prior to turning them on. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes well, so we washed all the dishes by hand. The refrigerator was not very clean. Those were really my only complaints. Overall, we enjoyed our time staying in a nice place with family.

Great lake property

A total of 7 adults stayed at this property over Labor Day weekend. Everything was as described in previous reviews. There was enough space for everyone and the master on the main floor was great for my elderly inlaws. There are a lot of stairs for everyone else. The downstairs was great and had a gameroom and 2 other bedrooms and a full bath. We enjoyed the ping pong table and other games. The stairs leading to the downstairs area are steep so my inlaws did not come down even though there is a sturdy banister. The adult upstairs loft has a half bath which was greatly appreciated. The kids loft does not have a bathroom and it directly faces the adult loft so there is not really any privacy. We appreciated the installed safety gates at all of the stairs entryways just as a safety precaution. We cooked all of our meals and there were plenty of kitchen supplies and left over spices. They provided toilet paper and a roll of paper towels, so bring whatever you need with you. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The view and water access to this property is worth every cent. The path down to the water is a little bit of uneven terrain for folks that have balance challenges but it is definitely manageable. Overall, a great stay. The owner was quick to respond with any questions. The view was really incredible. We fished off of the bank and in the kayaks and had a great time overall. Thanks!

This was just the right family gathering place. Three generations, using a birthday as a context for a family get-together. Plenty of room with a private beach access for paddlers, roomy great room, plenty of bedrooms.
