OK stay, a few problems.
Overall we had an OK stay with some problems. This was our first stay in a VRBO so I’m not sure if I’m being too picky. Perhaps my comments will help future visitors and the management. Cute little condo, very quiet residential neighborhood. The problems were not earth-shaking, but added up kept overnight stay from being less than good. We had a little trouble finding the condo and quite a bit of trouble getting the front door opened... finally figured it out. The water pressure in the shower was low. Manager Midge said she would remove pillows with feathers (I’m very allergic) and I reminded her in a text close to our stay date (as she had asked me to do) but she didn’t remove them. I woke up with red eyes and itchy, scratchy eyelids -but I brought my RX medicines and it is better now- a half day later. The A/C. Unit worked well but was quite loud and near the bedroom. We went out to eat dinner and came back ready to watch our Astros in the playoffs but couldn’t get TBS channel on the TV. Very disappointing. There were no fold out luggage racks or chest of drawers in the bedroom. so no place to put our suitcases. We used a kitchen chair and a living room chair- inconvenient but not major. As I said, lots of little things could have been better. Taking a person with allergies seriously is important, though. I wrote Midge before renting the condo and asked about feathers. I reminded her in a text a day or so before our stay and she still did not take care of it. So overall an OK stay. Best wishes to everyone on their travels.
